Proving That They May Be More Trouble Than They’re Worth
In The Blower’s October 20 “Meaningless Media Endorsements” E-dition, critics complained that media outlets should never endorse ANY candidate or issue. They said the Media should just give equal coverage to all sides, and by making an endorsement, it showed bias and made it very easy for people to believe that previous stories had been slanted in favor of the Media’s endorsed candidates or issues. And once a Media Outlet had made a meaningless endorsement, there was no way that Member of the News Media could possibly be depended on to give equal time and effort to reporting both sides of a race.
In The Blower’s November 4 Special “Ejected Endorsements” E-dition, we proved why The Media Should Never Make Endorsements after TEA Party Republican Matt Bevin’s election in Kentucky and the defeat of Cincinnati’s Diminutive DemocRAT Mayor John Cranley’s Permanent Charter Amendment for the mismanaged Cincinnati City Parks.
Yesterday, in our Just Another “Guest Column” E-dition, the Ohio Republican Party didn’t do their “Favorite Son” any favors when Cronies in Columbus stupidly “ENDORSED” Ohio Governor John Kasich for president 44-9 (while no other candidates were even considered) especially after Ohio TEA Party Rabble-Rouser Tom Zawistowski, President of the We the People Convention, predicted they be demonstrating why Republican Primary voters would vote to elect Donald Trump or Ted Cruz in the March Primary in only 66 more days by proving there is no Republican Party in Ohio, there is only the Kasich Machine.
Meanwhile today, Ohio Senator Rob “Fighting for Same Sex Marriage” gave Kasich the Kiss of Death when he endorsed Kasich for President.
Now let’s get this straight: Portman, who has one of the lowest name recognition and support levels among Ohioans (let alone Republicans) and has pissed off every Conservative, is now endorsing a governor who embraced ObamaCare, has failed to defund Planned Parenthood, and has been completely AWOL on Common Core. Now we know why Kasich said same-sex marriage was “the law of the land.” Maybe he was just making a public overture to Rob “Fighting for Faggots” Portman!
Google’s Blue Headline Mistake on that Columbus Dispatch story was only icing on the cake.
