Trump’s 830th Day In Office
Tomorrow Will Be May Day in America, Everybody!
Hurley the Historian says May 1 is an ancient Northern Hemisphere spring festival. Dances, singing, and cake are usually part of the celebrations.
It’s also International Workers’ Day, known as Labour Day in some places. It’s a celebration of laborers and the working classes promoted by the international labor movement, anarchists, socialists, and communists. Wasn’t Communism the leading ideological cause of death in the 20th Century, killing 94 million people?
May Day in the Soviet Union (and surely in Putin’s world) was celebrated with massive rallies on Red Square during the days of the Soviet Union as a commemoration of labor.
Red posters glorifying the working man were carried aloft past members of the Soviet Politburo, the unelected leaders of the state, who stood atop the mausoleum housing the body of the Russian revolutionary and the first Soviet leader, Vladimir Lenin. Huge parades showing the Soviet Union’s military might were a centerpiece. Of course, on May 1, 1986 under Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev’s direct order the May Day parade in Kyiv took place despite Chornobyl’s radiation filling the air. As the children marched past the reviewing stands they found them nearly empty – the party bosses had fled. Don’t believe Gorbachev’s reinvented history.
In Obama’s Racially Divided America, May Day 2015 was just another 24-hour period for Kneepad Liberals in the Press to promote their Bogus Black Revolution, like that media-orchestrated “protest” at the Hamilton County Courthouse organized by #BlackLivesDon’tMeanCrap to stand in solidarity with all those thugs setting Baltimore ablaze, since Liberals declared those Poor Misunderstood Black Yoofs should be allowed to loot and burn because their made-up rage was a legitimate response.
Curiously, there was no mention by local Kneepad Liberals of the most recent Black-on-Black Murder in the Killing Fields of Over-the-Rhine, which took place at 14th and Vine Streets, that week.
In 2017, everybody was wondering how big the Organized May Day Anti-Trump Protests would be and whether they’d turn violent, as thousands of demonstrators were expected to take to the streets in orchestrated May Day events across the USA as just another excuse to protest the policies of President Trump and the fact that “Crooked Hillary” had lost the 2016 Election.
The May Day holiday had been proclaimed by every president since Dwight D. Eisenhower, on differing dates, but Trump’s critics
skewered the timing of Trump’s proclamation on social media.
Trump released a statement declaring May 1, 2017 “Loyalty Day” as a way to “recognize and reaffirm our allegiance to the principles” upon which America was built, calling on all government buildings to display the U.S. flag and schools to observe the holiday with ceremonies.
In 2018, Trump released a statement declaring May 1 “Law Day,” celebrating our Nation’s heritage of liberty, justice, and equality under the law. This heritage is embodied most powerfully in our Constitution, the longest surviving document of its kind. The Constitution established a unique structure of government that has ensured to our country the blessings of liberty through law for nearly 230 years.
This year, May Day protests in NYC will target Trump, Wall Street, and more. Protests, rallies, and student walkouts are being planned across Manhattan for May Day. The Blower can only image what FAKE NEWS stories the Get Trump Media Mob will be coming up with tomorrow.
Most interesting will be the way the Liberal Propaganda Media will report tomorrow’s May Day events, especially after their defense of that so-called comedian who destroyed Saturday night’s Disingenuous D-RAT White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Washington last year. No wonder Trump boycotted that egregious event again this year to protest their Dishonest Media Coverage.
