Or Is This Just More Of The News They Seem To Lose?

image005Buckeye Bureau Chief Gerry Manders says one of the first things he does every morning is check the e-mail update from the Ohio GOP to find out what’s happening in Republican politics that day.

Today we saw where Governor John Kasich will address the crowd at the fairgrounds to kick off the week of the Ohio State Fair. Three major labor unions, which used to show support for Ted Strickland, have now endorsed Senator Rob Portman. While addressing a crowd of educators yesterday during the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education’s Connections to Education Conference, Attorney General Mike DeWhine said he would like to see age-appropriate instruction on drug addiction as part of efforts to counter Ohio’s heroin epidemic. Auditor Dave Yost and his office note that the issues regarding the records dispute within Huber Heights city government are now resolved and the matter is closed. And Josh Mandel’s OhioCheckbook.com will now hold expenditure information available for the city of Amherst and New Russia Township.

Damn! That’s just about everything you’d ever want to know about today’s Republican activity in Ohio.

The only thing missing for today’s date was Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump’s 8:00 PM Campaign Rally (Doors open at 5:00 PM) at the Huntington Center in Toledo. Do you think that was an oversight?  image017 image018
