Truth Revolt says this year’s Independence Day has been marred by several acts of Islamic terror around the world from an oppressive entity that threatens everyone’s freedom to simply exist. Yet, our leaders here in America haven’t shown the courage needed to properly deal with the radical jihadists that are lurking around every corner, seeking whom they may devour. Of course, the Obama administration can’t even bring itself to properly define the world’s common enemy, unless you count the time the president hurled the “JV team” label, and even that turned out to be inadequate. So, as today is the real Independence Day, it seemed appropriate to recall the speech given by actor Bill Pullman, the “president” in the 1996 film Independence Day, in order to give Obama an example of what should’ve appeared on his teleprompters when addressing this threat:
