TRUMP’S ONE-HUNDRED-AND-FIFTEENTH  DAY OUT-OF-OFFICE
AND WE ONCE AGAIN HEAR FROM OUR LOCAL POLITICAL JUNKIE WE’LL CALL “CINCY DAVE”

This week, the Daughter of Darth was excommunicated and cast into political purgatory, for the unpardonable sin of telling the truth. And, we know, truth is anathema to the modern version of the Republican Party. They, or at least their elected members, would rather live in a make-believe world where Trump is still the president but somehow has been cheated out of his rightful place as Dictator of the United States. So, Darth’s Daughter will be in the extremely unusual position of siding with the radical leftists like AOC and Bernie, (as well as everyone else in the sane world). It is indeed a moment in history.

But Liz, Daughter of Darth, is not going quietly. No, she is going to continue to fight like hell to tell the truth, even if it costs her a lot in the short term. She is betting that when Trump is gone for good, likely in jail or dead, she will be one of the few Republicans left standing who won’t have to account for her actions during the period of the ’21 Putsch and its aftermath. Looks like a plan.

Any student of history has heard the story of LBJ explaining why he never fired J. Edgar Hoover. He said, “I would rather have him inside the tent pissing out, instead of outside the tent pissing in.” Well, it seems that the so-called “leaders” of the Republicans have never heard or have forgotten that story. You can bet that Liz is going to be doing a lot of pissing in the future. If I were a Republican politician, I wouldn’t want to be inside that shrinking tent. It’s going to be fun to watch, at least for the Democrats.
