NBC’S HYPOCRISY ON ‘RIGGED’ PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
Monday’s NBC Nightly News led off with anchor Lester Holt decrying the “dark consequences” of Donald Trump’s “fiery and unsupported” warnings of a “rigged” election next month, and on Tuesday morning, MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin labeled Trump’s concerns “dangerous.” But back in 2004, NBC’s cable network MSNBC was the leader in casting doubt on the legitimacy of an election outcome, as then-8pm host Keith Olbermann spent night after night venting loopy left-wing fantasies about how President George W. Bush had supposedly stolen the election from John Kerry.

With just three weeks to go, major newspapers (with a circulation of at least 50,000) are walloping Donald Trump in their official endorsements, favoring Hillary Clinton by a count of 68 to zero. Out of a total of 82 newspapers that have offered an editorial on who their readers should vote for, 68 (83 percent) of them have endorsed Hillary Clinton, five (6 percent) recommended Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, two (2 percent) advised to vote for anybody but Trump and seven (9 percent) newspapers offered no endorsement at all.
POLITICO REPORTER ADMITS HE’S A ‘HACK’ FOR CLINTON CAMPAIGN IN LEAKED E-MAILS
In a leaked e-mail from Wikileaks late last week, Politico’s chief political correspondent Glenn Thrush was caught groveling before Hillary Clinton chairman John Podesta, trying to gain his “approval” before publishing a story on the Clinton campaign. In the e-mail, Thrush admits he’s a “hack” that needs Podesta’s approval on the part of the story that pertains to him.

On Monday, Chuck Ross of The Daily Caller blog spotlighted NBC’s Chuck Todd and his wife’s apparently cozy relationship with Hillary Clinton’s campaign communication director, Jennifer Palmieri. The Todds sent out invitations for a September 2015 event at their house honoring Palmieri and her husband, Jim Lyons. The couple included the Clinton flack’s supervisor, campaign chairman John Podesta, as disclosed in one of the e-mails released by Wikileaks.

On Tuesday, both NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America accepted at face value Obama administration denials of a quid pro quo to cover up Hillary Clinton’s possession of classified e-mails. Reports on the morning shows let statements from the State Department and the FBI be the last word on the topic.
