TRUMP’S FIVE-HUNDRED-AND-SIXTY-NINTH DAY OUT-OF-OFFICE
AND IS THE FOREST HILLS SCHOOL BOARD READY FOR MORE MEETINGS?
Yesterday at the Apocalypse Agenda Dr. Dullahan explained why Over-Taxed Payers don’t want to miss any of those meetings coming up soon in the Forest Hills School District.
We’ve written for a long time on the Anderson Apocalypse. At some point truth prevails, progress begins.
Not yet. The new board members quickly have fallen into lockstep with their predecessors.
For example, the school board just announced its fall meeting schedule. Progress is seen as having moved monthly meetings from Mondays to Wednesdays.
Transparency remains lacking. Super-secret “executive sessions” and “special meetings” still outnumber “regular meetings.”
The board continues to create controversy and liabilities as fast as they confront absurdities. When the board looks bad in the public eye, the district looks bad.
As we see it, however, most of those issues are side shows.
The biggest problem remains. The budget.
We draw attention to this item on the Forest Hills Treasurer’s page: “In FY 2022 a revenue surplus is expected. This means that expenditures are expected to be less than revenue by -$2,547,961 in FY 2022. By the last year of the forecast, FY 2026, the district is expected to have a revenue shortfall where expenditures are projected to be greater than revenue by $13,047,717 The district would need to cut its FY 2026 projected expenses by 12.49% in order to balance its budget without additional revenue.”
Sorry, we have to say “DUH” to that condescending note. Let’s provide clarity.
In the five-year budget forecast, EVERY ANNUAL BUDGET IS IN DEFICIT EXCEPT 2022. As we’ve said before, who publishes a budget like that? Who keeps their job by approving that kind of negative planning, as this board did?
There is no talk of trimming the budget fat that continues to accumulate.
There is instead an implicit message that taxes will be raised significantly. The treasurer’s verbiage describes the budget numbers as “Revenue Surplus or Deficit w/o Levies” and “Ending Balance w/o Levies.”
The levy is coming, Over-Taxed Payers. If you don’t pass it the first time, they’ll berate you and hurt you then come at you again. This repeats with increasing intensity until they wrest the money from you. Same old, same old.
And the district will not do anything significant to balance the budget. To change the system of deficit spending they’ve adopted.
To them, money grows on Over-taxed Payer trees. And they’ll use “It’s for the kids” to shake the money down (shake you down).
Meanwhile, the increasing property tax burden is becoming unbearable for many folks. The system will break. It has to.
Maybe our Apocalypse has a looming “Black Wednesday” in 2022 where the school district will crash like the stock market did on “Black Tuesday” in 1929. It may take something like that to finally set things right again.
Until then, the Apocalypse continues on.
