To Take Advantage Of All Those Free Offers

The Anderson Veterans Society says reveille will be at 0600 Friday morning where Veterans of all races, creeds, and sexual orientations can begin boarding the busses for the Third Annual Veterans Day Grub Crawl at Ohio Second District Congressman’s Office, located at 7954 PFC James Miller IV Memorial Highway (aka Beechmont Avenue), so Anderson Veterans can visit every one of the 487 area restaurants in Anderson and the surrounding tri-state areas offering Free Food for Veterans on Veterans Day 2016.

WLW Phony Patriot Bill Cunningham says Freeloaders Pretending to be Veterans  couldn’t believe all the free meals they could on Veterans Day at places like Applebees (Free Meal); Belterra Casino (Free lunch and dinner); Bob Evans (Free menu items and 10 percent off through December 31); Bonanza Steakhouse (Free buffet, beverage not included); Carrabba’s (Free Appetizer); Chili’s (Free Meal); Chipotle (Buy one, get one small burrito, bowl, or salad from 3 p.m. to close); Cracker Barrel (Free meal 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.); Denny’s (Free Build Your Own Grand Slam); Golden Corral (Free dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.); Gold Star Chili (Free 3-Way and drink); IHOP (Free pancakes or breakfast combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.); J.C. Penny – Five percent discount from November 10 -13); Little Caesars (Free $5 Hot-n-Ready from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.); Mike’s Car Wash (Free car wash); Olive Garden (Free entree from a limited menu);  Outback Steakhouse (Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage); Panera Bread (One free Pick 2); Red Lobster (Free appetizer and dessert from a limited menu); Starbucks (Free tall brewed coffee); Texas Roadhouse – (Free lunch from a limited menu); and White Castle (Free breakfast combo or castle combo meal).

Among the non-food freebies, Great Clips is giving anyone who gets a haircut on November 11 a card that a veteran or active-duty military service member can later use for a free haircut; Meineke offers free oil changes with military ID on Veterans Day; and at Yellowstone and every other National Park, admission is free for everyone on November 11, but you still have to pay your membership to the Anderson Dog Park on Kellogg Avenue.

Only in The Blower are people able to read about how Veterans can also pig out on Veterans Day at the Patriot Center, 6660 Clough Pike, when the Anderson Township Veterans Memorial Committee will be providing a complimentary dinner, cash bar and live entertainment from Smoooth and The Cincy Rockers. Dessert will be donated by Mt. Washington Care Center.

In all cases, Veterans should be sure to bring your ID with your proof of status as a current or former member of the military. This would include your DD-214 Form, Dog Tags, Sharpshooters Medals, shot records, and Obama has just signed an executive order allowing Gay Veterans to give each other short-arm inspections in the restrooms.
