TONIGHT’S REALLY BIG STORY
RALLY IN CINCINNATI KICKS OFF TRUMP-PENCE VICTORY TOUR
The Donald Trump Thank You rally was held tonight in the US Bank Arena in downtown Cincinnati. The arena seats were filled and several thousand people stood at floor level in front of the podium to hear Trump.
Several politicians spoke before Trump including Josh Mandel and Mike Pence, meeting with a polite response. When Donald Trump stepped up to the microphone, the crowd went wild. They loved Trump and Trump loved them.
Many local Republicans, including the rotund Alex Triantafilou, stood around hoping to be noticed by Trump. One of politicians, an African American, did an odd dance jig for no apparent reason, making himself look like a fool.
Noticeably absent from the rally was the top state official elected by the people of Ohio, John Kasich. Poor manners and being a sore loser kept creepy Kasich away. Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine also declined to attend. Big mistake, Mike, since you are planning to run for Ohio governor. DeWine’s future gubernatorial opponent, John Husted, did attend, affably mingling with the people.
One sad aspect of the rally was the Secret Service denying handicapped people the use of any elevators, forcing them to suffer climbing the steep concrete stairs with no railings. One elderly woman fell on the steps and had to be helped up by Good Samaritans who also helped the injured woman out of the arena to get medical attention for her injuries. Apparently the Secret Service is clueless about the Americans With Disabilities law. Are these the same Secret Service agents who notoriously get drunk and have sex with prostitutes in their hotel room while being on assignment?
Outside the arena, paid and bored protesters held lackluster signs supporting Hillary.
