AND THERE MAY BE PLENTY OF BLAME TO GO AROUND FOR TUESDAY’S DUMBED-DOWN TAX HIKE, BUT FIRST WE’LL…

Thanks to a small group of local so-called Republican “leaders,” four untested RINOS were put on the school board in 2021 that could barely walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.  We were told these rookies would save us from the errors of the past and right the sinking Forest Hills School District Ship.

Unfortunately, they did nothing more than cower, moan, and run for cover.

We shouldn’t be surprised then that after being in office barely one year they had gone native and voted unanimously to impose a huge tax increase on their surprised constituents.

We will remember in 2025 should they decide to run for re-election but the damage has been done.  Damage to the district, the over-taxpayers, and damage to the local Republican movement.

For these feckless RINOS are nothing more than a symptom of a greater problem in politics today – lack of conviction, principles, and good old-fashioned grit. Quick to surrender and ready to make a deal along the path of least resistance.
