This morning at the Conservative Agenda, one of the Political Insiders was asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher if Obama once again deserved The Blower’s Liberal Liar Award after one of the Whistleblower Winter Interns revived an old video of Obama promising NOT TO TAKE VACATIONS if he were to be elected president.

That video featured then-Senator Obama discussing his book “The Audacity Of Hope” with New York Times columnist Bob Herbert in 2008. The future Worst President in History was talking about how those running for president needed to be prepared to “give their life to it.” “The bargain that any president strikes with is, you give me this office and in turn my, fears, doubts, insecurities, foibles, need for sleep, family life, vacations, leisure is gone,” Obama said. “I am giving myself to you.”

image004image004What a Bunch of Bullshit that was, because that was more than $85 million worth of over-taxed payer funded vacations ago and God knows how many gazillion dollars worth of golf games.

image004Coincidentally, today is travel time again for Obama (who departs this afternoon after warning Russia and maybe even China) on another Christmas vacation in Hawaii, thankfully the last while he is in office. Judicial Watch recently revealed that, to date, the first family’s personal travel expenses had totaled more than $85 million. Last year’s jaunt to Hawaii cost $4.8 million, according to the watchdog, which bases the estimates on information from Freedom of Information Act requests and factors such as the cost of aircraft fuel, among other things. Well. Let’s just say aloha here, ‘tis the season. The good news is, it keeps Obama away from the nation’s capital until January 3.

image004Meanwhile, with only 35 more days before he at long last can finally begin to undo all the damage Our Divider-In-Chief has done to America during the past eight years, President-Elect Donald Trump has so far has met with 90 prospective Cabinet members in his New York City offices. But he’s not forgotten his “USA thank you tour,” meant to recognize steadfast voters who never deserted him during a particularly grueling campaign. Today, Trump journeys to Orlando, Florida, for a jumbo rally, accompanied by Vice President-elect Mike Pence. Saturday finds Trump solo in Mobile, Alabama, for a mid-afternoon event in a stadium. It’s evident that he relishes these jubilant voter visits — very local and authentically down home in nature. They also worked for him.

image004In June, Donald Trump said he may be a globe-trotting entrepreneur and reality star, but if elected to the White House, he plans on staying put. “I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done. I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off,” Trump told The Hill. “You don’t have time to take time off.”

image004But isn’t that pretty much what Obama promised BEFORE he was elected?
