To Us, It Just Looks Like Politics As Usual

image006This morning at The Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher about The Blower’s New War on Bureaucracy. “We all know that the next 384 days will be the most important period in American History for our non-stop campaign against Political Correctness, the Devolution of American Culture, and the Liberal News Media,” Kane explained. “Somehow we’d better also start complaining against The BureaucRATS, because America would never be in the mess it’s in without them.”

image005Whistleblower Senior National Political Affairs Analyst Britt Humus says we’re watching a three-ring media circus in DC this week.

image005In the First Ring, just as The Blower predicted, Obama’s Doofus Vice President Joe Biden weaseled out of officially announcing he’d be jumping into the 2016 Presidential Race and totally screwing things up for Hillary and the Disingenuous DemocRATS. Standing next to Obama in the Rose Garden, it took Bloviating Biden 30 minutes to deliver his bullshit remarks.

image005In the Second Ring, Disingenuous DemocRATS have begun their coordinated Campaign of Obfuscation, while Hillary’s practicing non-stop getting ready to lie her ass off at Trey Gowdy’s Benghazi hearings on Thursday.

image005image007And in the Third Ring, Republican Congressman Paul Ryan says he’d be glad to run for Speaker of the House, but only if every Republican in the House pledged their allegiance to him, agreeing to do whatever he asked, and by the way, they would have to agree to this by Friday. Conservatives wanted a tough negotiator to replace Boehner, didn’t they?

Disingenuous DemocRAT Senator “Dingy Harry” Reid gave Ryan the Kiss of Death with his unwelcome endorsement. “He appears to me to be one of the people over there that would be reasonable,” Reid said.

image004Obama likes Ryan because of Ryan’s support for Obama’s Trade Bill everybody else seems to hate and his total squishiness on Amnesty.

ForAmerica’s Brent Bozell issued a preemptive denunciation of Ryan on Monday. “How can someone with an ‘F’ conservative rating (Conservative Review) be acceptable to conservatives?” he said in a statement to National Review. “Paul Ryan came to Washington with such promise, and has been a huge disappointment. At every turn he has done the bidding of John Boehner. He hasn’t taken a principled stand on a single thing of importance. He is just more of the same, sadly.”

Ryan also said he would only take the speaker’s job if Congress eliminated the power to oust the speaker mid-session — something Rep. Raul Labrador, Idaho Republican, said would undermine the checks and balances that have been in the system since Thomas Jefferson first wrote the parliamentary rule book. “That’s something that’s in Jefferson’s rules, this is something that if it’s good enough for Jefferson, it’s got to be good enough for Paul Ryan,” Labrador said.

Conservatives in the 40-member Freedom Caucus of hard-line Conservatives came away wary of Ryan’s demand for unconditional support. They were dismissive of Ryan’s request that they relinquish a procedural tactic they used to threaten to strip outgoing Speaker John Boehner of his title — one of the most potent weapons in the group’s arsenal.

TEA Party Leader Jenny Beth Martin says Paul Ryan is not the right man to assume the House Speakership—and anyone who believes he is, just doesn’t get it. In fact, anyone who believes Ryan is the right man for Speaker simply has no idea why we in the TEA Party movement feel like the Republican Party has betrayed us, no understanding of what’s motivating the GOP primary electorate’s embrace of outsider candidates and no clue how to fashion a strategy that re-unites all the factions necessary to build a winning Republican coalition for the crucial 2016 elections.

Jenny says Ryan is a nice man, but he does not reflect the conservative base of the modern GOP. Long before there was a TEA Party movement, Ryan opposed a Balanced Budget Amendment, which would have forced Congress to keep its spending in check. He voted for No Child Left Behind, the disastrous take-over of America’s education policy by D.C. bureaucRATS. And he voted to create the prescription drug coverage program known as Medicare Part D—the largest expansion of the federal government since Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society.

image005Meanwhile, John Boehner says House Republicans will hold elections to nominate a new Speaker on October 28, two days before Speaker John Boehner is expected to resign from Congress.
