The Truth About Katrina

image004Obama hopped on Air Force One and flew to New Orleans yesterday to make another one of his phony baloney campaign speeches and photo ops, blame George W. Bush, and take credit for all the good things that have happened during that city’s renaissance during the last ten years since Hurricane Katrina. Not surprisingly, Obama Supporters in the Press will also be ignoring the indisputable fact that the rebirth of New Orleans would not have been possible without the political and personal commitment of President George W. Bush, and the generosity of the American people.

Fox News says Bush made his promise to the Crescent City clear. He confidently said, “All who question the future of the Crescent City need to know: There is no way to imagine America without New Orleans, and this great city will rise again.” In his speech, Bush committed to not only rebuilding the city, but making it stronger.

At Bush’s urging, Congress passed a package of $52 billion in aid to help rebuild and recover the estimated $108 billion lost to the storm. The Bushes, who had a deep love for and connection to New Orleans prior to Katrina, personally visited the Gulf region 41 times with their sleeves rolled up, grabbing hammers and lending hands to rebuilding efforts. The Blower’s sure you didn’t hear anything about that during your daily Obama Approved Revisionist History Lesson on last night’s TV Network Nightly News.image003

Now Let’s Meet Today’s Guest Editor

image007Why, it’s none other than Michael Brown, who served as the under secretary of Homeland Security for President George W. Bush from 2003-2005, and as the director, deputy director and general counsel of the Federal Emergency Management Agency from 2001-2005. “Brownie” says, “Stop Blaming Me for Hurricane Katrina,” because ten years later, he’s still being blamed by every Liberal in the Universe for all of the government’s failures. Here’s what really happened.

Briefly, he’s what really happened: The blame game was primed. Had the Black DemocRAT mayor and DemocRAT governor fulfilled their responsibilities as elected leaders of their city and state, most if not all of the people crying for help in front of national television cameras would not have been there. They would have been in other locales, safe and secure. But the blame was not placed on those responsible. The blame was placed on me—the one person who had no authority to do anything at that point except get out the checkbook and start paying the Department of Defense to evacuate people from that hellhole to a place of safety. And that is exactly what I did. Soon the blame started coming at me from another direction— higher up.[READ MORE HERE]

That’s why The Blower is honored to choose “Brownie” to be this week’s guest editor and choose three Obama-Bashing Stories plus an Obama-Bashing Quickie for today’s E-dition from our Current Cadre of Conservative Columnists and Contributors.image003

“A TALE OF TWO FUNERALS” by Charles Dickens

image008By all accounts, Harold was a bright child. He grew up in America. He went to school and had a bright future ahead of him. Harold’s full life was cut short in a violent moment. While few people had ever heard of Harold before his death, many did afterwards. And in death, something shocking happened. What was so shocking, especially when it is compared to the death of someone else recently in the news? Harold is Harold Greene, Major General United States Army.

On August 5, General Greene was killed by a Taliban terrorist. He was returned to America with full military honors. It has been a tradition that the President attends the funeral of flag officers killed in the line of duty. Richard Nixon attended the funeral of a Major General killed in Vietnam and George W. Bush attended the funeral of Lieutenant General Timothy Maude, who was killed in the 9/11 attacks.

While Major General Greene was buried, Obama was golfing. The Vice President wasn’t there either. Neither was the Secretary of Defense. Flags were not even lowered to half staff. Four days after Harold Greene gave his life for America, Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson Missouri. It is safe to say, Brown was at best a thug. The media has repeatedly shown photos of Brown flashing gang signs. Some media outlets have even associated him with a specific gang. In the minutes before his death, Brown committed a robbery at a local convenience store. According to other reports, Brown struck Officer Darren Wilson and shattered his eye socket.

Obama sent a three-person delegation to Michael Brown’s funeral. Obama would not attend the funeral of the highest ranking military officer killed in the line of duty since 9/11, yet he will send a delegation to the funeral of a thug. When Margaret Thatcher, one of America’s staunchest allies and Ronald Reagan’s partner in bringing down Soviet communism died, Obama sent only a small low-level delegation to her funeral. The snub was not missed by the British, nor was the return of the bronze Churchill bust that had occupied a place of honor in the Oval Office until the day Obama was sworn in.

When Chris Kyle, the most lethal American sniper in history was murdered, there was no expression of sympathy from the White House. There was no White House delegation at his funeral. American heroes die and Obama goes golfing again. A thug dies and he gets a White House delegation. No wonder real Americans hold Obama in contempt.image003

“RACIAL BIAS UPDATE” from John Birch

image010Does anyone remember Detective Melvin Santiago? He was a Jersey City police officer who was shot to death just over a month ago, on July 13. Santiago was white. His killer, Lawrence Campbell, was black. Does anyone recall Obama appearing before national television and calling for justice for Officer Santiago’s family? Does anyone recall Eric Holder rushing to Jersey City to see that justice was done?

How about Officer Jeffrey Westerfield.  He was a Gary, Indiana police officer who was shot to death last month on July 6.  Westerfield was white. His killer, Carl LeEllis Blount, Jr. was black.  Where was Obama? Where was Holder?’

Or Officer Perry Renn?  He was an Indianapolis, Indiana police officer who was shot to death on July 5, the day before Officer Westerfield was killed. Officer Renn was white.  His killer, Major Davis, was black. I don’t recall any mention by Obama about the untimely death of Officer Renn. Eric Holder didn’t rush to Indianapolis either to make sure justice was done.

Vermillion Parish Deputy Sheriff Allen Bares was gunned down by two men just last June 23 in Louisiana.  Deputy Bares was white.  His two killers, Quintlan Richard and Baylon Taylor, were black.  Was Obama outraged?  Did Eric Holder rush to Louisiana to make sure that the family of Deputy Bares found justice?

In Texas, Detective Charles Dinwiddie of the Killeen Police Department was murdered by Marvin Lewis Guy, a black male.  Officer Dinwiddie was white.  This happened on May 11, just over three months ago. I don’t even recall seeing anything about that on the news. Certainly, the white citizens in Killeen didn’t take to the streets to loot and burn businesses. Again, I don’t recall any mention by Obama or Holder.

Then, there is Officer Kevin Jordan of the Griffin, Georgia Police Department.  He was gunned down just three months ago on May 31. Officer Jordan was black.  His killer, Michael Bowman, was white.  This was a white man murdering a black police officer.  Where was Jesse Jackson?  Where was “The Reverend” Al Sharpton?  Was there looting and burning on the streets of Griffin, Georgia?  No.  In fact, I don’t recall hearing about this one in the news, as well.  Why?  image003

EIGHT MAGIC WORDS”…by Rufus Redneck

image012I am going to reveal to you eight magic words.

With these words you will have a new understanding of issues you have contemplated at length.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have entirely different influences in music and movies, and language.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have a much smaller national deficit.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have far less turmoil in America.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have all of our great cities prospering as well as the small towns.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have far less violence and have far less need for gun control.

Ready?

“We should have picked our own damn cotton.”

AND A QUICKIE By Our Good Friend Bobby Leach

image013 In the USA Today story Tuesday, titled, “Firsthand fear, awe on Ferguson streets,” reporter Yamiche Alcindor wrote, “There was the friendly looter who, after allowing me to film him carrying off large bottles of liquor, asked me a question that caught me off-guard: ‘Got all you need, ma’am?”

Just curious, but is “friendly looter” an oxymoron?

These items are perfect to forward to all of your Internet Buddies and Facebook Friends with too much time on their hands.image003 Stories We’re Working On

 Weekly Whistleblower Limerick Contest

You Can’t Handle the Truth

image022This week, everybody who wonders if somebody in the Obama Campaign will accidentally tell the truth during the next 511 Days of Dishonesty for America remaining during the Dark Ages of Obama’s Second Term, unless the First Black President in History is impeached, e-mailed an entry to the Whistleblower Limerick Contest.

The winner is well known lie detector, Pinocchio Tadwell, who explains the reason elected officials never have to worry about telling the truth during political campaigns is because they haven’t been sworn in. If a man answered every question with the threat of perjury hanging over his head, you might not hear so many bald-faced lies during political campaigns.

Pinocchio wins a Bill Clinton “I did Not Have Sex With That Woman” Poster, a George Bush “Read My Lips, No New Taxes” T-Shirt, and a list of 1001 Lies Obama’s told since being elected, to use when he calls up right-wing radio talk shows. His winning limerick is:

How many more lies will Obama tell
As he tries to drive the U.S. straight to Hell
Marx’s lies he keeps plying
And the Liberals keep buying
While the Media’s legs throb and pants swell

And from the Anderson Laureate (who’s still not successfully completed his racial sensitivity correspondence course),

How many more lies will Obama tell?
How long will Satan be living in hell?
Hey, just do the math:
The man is a sociopath
And he’s got nothing but BS to sell.

He’s as pompous as anyone I’ve known
And he’s a socialist clear to the bone
Please God in November
Let’s hope people remember
The last four years have caused us to moan.

The first line of next week’s limerick is:
“Here’s what we’ll celebrate this labor day.”image003

 Whistleblower VIDEO of the Day

Comedian Colin Quinn NAILS it on PC Culture

In less than two minutes, comedian Colin Quinn paints a hilariously scary picture of what it’s like in the United States of Political Correctness, where people walk on eggshells and fear insulting someone or being “noninclusive.” This is the atmosphere most modern college students live under, and they’re sure to get a knowing chuckle at Colin’s all-too-real joke on PC culture run amok.
