People Really Need to Change!

image004It’s not often The Blower totally agrees with a DemocRAT, but Todd Portune’s not-poorly-written letter in Tuesday’s Fishwrap (“How could so many ignore injured woman?”) was impossible to ignore.

image008Our Hamilton County Commissioner couldn’t understand what made people so callous after a woman slipped and fell Downtown on Walnut Street in the middle of the afternoon. As the woman lay on the ground with her purse and belongings strewn about, businessmen-and-women walked on by. When she couldn’t get up, able-bodied persons ignored her and kept walking. And what was most disappointing, as she asked several people directly if they would help her get up, they looked at her and then carefully stepped around her and went on their way without so much as uttering a word.

image008The Blower has been writing about the Devolution of American Culture during the Age of Obama for the past seven years, and unfortunately, this was one more example.

image008Then we remembered the opening scene of the HBO series “The Newsroom” explaining why America’s not the greatest country any longer. [YOU CAN WATCH IT HERE]
