AND One of the Most Fun Things For Persons of Consequence these days is reviewing the current week’s thirty-two-year-old 1991 Edition of the Whistleblower (the award-winning printed version that was hand-delivered all over town) to see if any local people pictured on those pages might still be room temperature these days.
Would You Look at All These Warm Bodies?JAN 20 THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLD DAYS

NEARLY THIRTY-TWO YEARS AGO TODAY…

image004Edition #42 (published on March 19, 1991) of the original printed edition of The Whistleblower (not the Newswire) was delivered to Persons of Consequence all over town. That Week’s “Really Big Story” was all about Landslide Charlie Luken’s run for President. The Top Ten List was the top ten reasons Landslide Charlie Luken should run for president in 1992, and a story about how 55 WKRC was standing by its report that General Norman Schwartzkopf would be throwing out the first pitch on Opening Day for The Reds.

There was a Real Editorial by Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane (before he became “Beloved”), and more “Real Facts” that included the investigative reports abput Guy Guckenberger, “JayWalking Joe” Deters, Jerry Galvin, and Steve Chabothead, when he was a lowly Hamilton County Commissioner.image009
And we took “Cheap Shots” at Jerry Thomas, Charles Hughes, George Blake; and a public disservice message for our Homosexual Hotline, along with “Another Real Guest Editorial by Bunky Tadwell.”image011
