Was our Revered Former Ohio Congressman Bob McEwen really the victim of fake news from the totally discredited Washington Post this morning, or was he merely a casualty of miss-reporting by our the ALSO FAKE NEWS Fishwrap?

Feckless Fishwrappers said the FAKE NEWS Washington Post claimed McEwen had assured the stepfather of a teenager that “strong action” would be taken against the GOP candidate accused of molesting the teen, according to emails obtained by the Washington Post. But that never happened.

McEwen, executive director of the conservative Council for National Policy, was included in an email chain that detailed allegations against Wes Goodman, then a candidate for the Ohio House. Goodman was accused of fondling an 18-year-old boy at a 2015 event hosted by McEwen’s organization.

According to the emails, McEwen supposedly promised the teenager’s stepfather on Oct. 22, 2015, “strong action is about to take place.” The Fishwrap says they reached out to McEwen for comment, and he also did not respond to the Washington Post for its report.

Resigned-in-Disgrace Ex Ohio RINO Party Boss at the time of the incident Matt Borges said, “There was an allegation of sexual assault against one of our state representatives. (McEwen) knew about it and apparently chose to do nothing.” “That’s an unacceptable failure,” Backstabber Borges added.

Current Ohio Republican Party leader Jane Timken covered her political posterior by following the current policy of “Zero Tolerance for Weenie Grabbing at Conservative Events” and called on McEwen to resign from his post on the State Party’s governing body, if he knew about the allegations. “I think every person has an obligation to say and do something about sexual misconduct or harassment of any kind when they see it, blah, blah blah. If Bob McEwen knew about this and did not say or do anything, he should resign, yada, yada, yada,” Timken said in a statement. 

The Blower has a pretty good idea who might have leaked all those e-mails to the FAKE NEWS Washington Post, but wonders why Disgraced Ex-Party Boss Borges sat on his fat ass and didn’t do his job and take action at the time of the incident.

The Blower also knows what would happen today if every one of those 66 members of what The Fishwrap called the State Party’s “Governing Body” would have to report all rumors or charges against every Republican who might years later run for office, and would have to resign “if they knew” about all of the sexual misconduct that’s ever gone on at the state house— including Ohio Supreme Court Justices. We can only imagine who Ohio’s Current Republican Party Leader would get to Rubber Stamp all of her Party’s Political Policies. And if the GOP Party Chairlady is currently collecting all those unverified charges, the ones just against the sitting members of the State Committee would fill volumes.
