On October 17, 2017 a teacher/coach was accused and confessed to texting a female student and inviting her to his house to use his hot tub with only himself there, while his family was out of town. The texts were exchanged during school hours, using his personal cell phone. When the student balked at the idea, the teacher informed her to delete the texts. The student told her mom, who then told the principal. At 3pm that same day the teacher resigned. Was he texting other students? We will probably never know.
