As we see in other elections around the United States, rejection of wokeism in the Forest Hills School District resulted in a conservative takeover of the school board.
The new members will soon realize “Be careful what you ask for, you might get it.”
The board will deal with an entrenched bureaucracy that does not understand fiscal responsibility. To them, money is always there. The kids are effective hostages when voters (and board members) resist.
Union negotiations might prove to be extremely contentious.
Ms. Rasmussen lost all influence overnight. She certainly didn’t get what she asked for. Her small progressive base was rendered irrelevant.
Superintendent Prebles must be wondering if he should thank or curse board members Heis, Bissinger, Rasmussen, and Choice for his long contract extension. (Rod tried to help him cut his losses without success when she voted against keeping him around.) His life working for the new board could be a living hell. We will be watching the Vegas over/under on how long he will stay.
Mr. Heis received some punishment for his decision-making. Not nearly what he deserves. He should have scurried away while he was ahead like Frooman and Smith.
Will we see revelations in the release of information on the mismanagement of bond levy funds? The new board members now have access to all the information they sought and were denied in public information requests. Could the Apocalypse be here?

Given the fervor of voters reacting to the secretive progressive brainwashing of their schoolchildren, school districts seem to qualify as a “religious concept.”
