Two More Late Turkey Nominations Discovered In Clermont County

One of our Clermont Crony’s two questionable nominations for the Whistleblower Newswire’s Thirteenth Annual Turkey Of The Year Contest (sponsored by Dummy’s Restaurants) that arrived after the original deadline was for State Reptile “Mean Jean” Schmidt, because, according to the New Hampshire Gazette, Wednesday was the date in 2005 when Turkey Jean was forced to apologize to veteran Congressman Jack Murtha (D-Pa.) on the House floor for implying he was a coward. 

And if you thought everybody in Clermont County was embarrassed over that, you should have seen the reaction when Rachel Dratch launched her career playing “Southwest Ohio’s most embarrassing elected official since Jerry Springer” on Saturday Night Live.

The second long-overdue Turkey nomination discovered was for Clermont County Attorney Joe Braun, who masterminded “Mean Jean’s” original Congressional Primary election win in 2005, and for which he will never ever be forgiven.
