GOOD NEWS FOR TRUMP
image009The Supreme Court has reinstated an Arizona law banning absentee ballot collection. This was a practice, called Ballot Harvesting, that was used for many years in rural parts of Arizona to help voters who have no home mail delivery and who lived too far from a post office to easily mail their ballots in. Proponents of the law said that the law was necessary to combat vote fraud but opponents said it was just another device to suppress minority votes. The minorities in this case were Indian Tribes. One Tribe lives in an area the size of Connecticut, which has only one post office for the entire area. Opponents of the law took it to court and temporarily won, but the state appealed to the Supreme Court who reinstated the law less than one day later. However, state officials are unlikely to attempt to enforce the law, which would be difficult to do anyway. We don’t know which way Indians are likely to vote, but apparently the Arizona State Legislature does, and they don’t want them doing it. More here: And here: And still more here:

image011GOOD NEWS FOR HILLARY
A federal judge ordered three North Carolina counties to restore thousands of voter registrations canceled too close to Election Day after the NAACP sued over the removals. U.S. District Judge Loretta Biggs issued the preliminary injunction Friday after an emergency hearing earlier in the week on NAACP allegations that those counties — and possibly others — purged voter rolls through a process disproportionately targeting blacks. Biggs said the three counties must restore voter registrations canceled in the 90 days preceding the election because of a federal law prohibiting blanket removals that close to Election Day. She concluded that Cumberland, Beaufort and Moore counties had gone about “systematically purging between 3,500 and 4,000 voters from registration rolls” since August. More here:

image012GIULIANI DENIES GETTING LEAKED INFO FROM FBI AS DEMS CALL FOR INVESTIGATION
Former New York mayor and top Donald Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani denied knowing about new emails in the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private server before they became public after he said he “heard about it” ahead of time during an appearance on Fox and Friends. “This has been boiling up in the FBI. I did nothing to get it out. I had no role in it,” Giuliani said on the morning Fox News program. “Did I hear about it? Darn right I heard about it. I can’t even repeat the language I heard from the former FBI agents.” The comment reinforced suspicion Giuliani received leaked information about the emails from within the bureau. The theory stemmed from Giuliani’s cryptic statement that there was “a surprise or two that you’re going to hear about in the next few image013days” on Fox News two days before Comey informed lawmakers of the new emails. “I’m talking about some pretty big surprises,” he told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum on Oct. 26. “We’ve got a couple things up our sleeve that should turn this around.” Democratic Reps. Elijah Cummings and John Conyers, the ranking members of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees, respectively, sent a letter to Inspector General Michael Horowitz to investigate leaks from the FBI about the Clinton case. PROOF THE ELECTION IS RIGGED?
In a speech in Reno, Trump cited as proof that the election is being rigged by referring to the fact that in Clark County (Las Vegas) polls remained open for “hours and hours” past closing time on Friday evening to accommodate early “Democratic” voting. But, as all poll workers and most voters know, voters who are in line when the image014polls close are allowed to vote no matter how long it takes. What is done when there is a long line at the official poll closing time is to send an election official to stand at the end of the line to make sure that no additional would-be voters can get into line. But, to The Donald, the only way he can lose anything is if it is rigged.

TRUMP’S FINAL CAMPAIGN AD
Critics accuse The Donald’s last campaign ad of having anti-Semitic overtones. This is not surprising, considering that the person now running his campaign, Steve Bannon, is the same guy who runs the White Supremacist website known as Breitbart. Take a look at the article, watch the video and judge for yourself. Go Here:

TRUMP’S FAKE ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT
Donald Trump was holding a rally in Nevada on Saturday and began jawing with a member of the audience—later identified as Austyn Crites, an anti-Trump Republican. Crites attempted to extract an image015anti-Trump sign from his pocket, someone in the crowd shouted “gun,” chaos temporarily reigned, and Trump was hustled offstage by the Secret Service. Ultimately, order was restored, Crites was detained, and The Donald returned to finish his remarks. While this was “breaking news” on several sites, it likely would have faded into the background, if not for the fact that members of the Trump campaign—particularly Donald, Jr. and top aide Jack Posobiec—are working hard to get some mileage out of the incident. Both described Crites’ actions as an “assassination attempt” (death by paper cut?), and Posobiec took to Twitter to point out how heroic The Donald was for returning to the stage, even when confronted by Democratic violence. That, friends, is a master class in spin, since there was no assassination attempt, nor was there a Democrat. More Here:

TODAY’S STATE POLLS
Iowa and New Mexico are swing states, although New Mexico has been leaning Democratic for the last few cycles. From this poll and the last few polls, Iowa looks like a good bet for Trump. Because of the Hispanic vote, New Mexico was probably lost to him at the moment he announced his candidacy, when he called Mexicans a number of bad things. Trump has made a few half-hearted attempts to campaign in Pennsylvania, but it’s going to be tough for him to win there. It has been said that, politically, Pennsylvania is just Pittsburgh and Philadelphia with Alabama in between. However, the “City of Brotherly Love” overwhelms the rest of the state, and Trump’s message is definitely not about brotherly love.
