This Sunday in America… at the Church of The Compassionate Conservative, Beloved Whistleblower Publisher, the Right-Wing Reverend Charles Foster Kane was asking his Political Parishioners to ask for God to help members of the Establishment Pray for Republican Party Boss Reince Priebus to figure out what he’s supposed to be doing about the problems the Republican National Committee appears to be having between now and his upcoming Clusterfuck Convention in Cleveland.

During his rounds of the Sunday TV Talk Shows this morning, Priebus warned of “consequences” to Trump’s talk of independent bid, saying “Candidates have to watch their mouth.” Babbling on, Priebus also said “I don’t know’ if Trump is strongest candidate,” blah, blah, blah, and “I think candidates will support eventual nominee,” yada, yada, yada. There wasn’t much real news there.  

Earlier this week, Priebus also said if Donald Trump wins the Republican presidential nomination this summer, the billionaire’s campaign will not be given control over the party leading up to the November election. If that’s true, Priebus’ decision would be a stunning reversal of precedent and a serious slap in the face to the Trump campaign.

Then there’s all that back-stage maneuvering for Preibus’ job in 2017, which would probably be a moot point if Donald Trump or another Republican is elected president this fall, since It’s tradition for the president to handpick the chairman of his own party.

Which Republican most needs God’s Help these days? Reince Priebus would surely be The Blower’s nominee.
