Tonight’s Really Big Story

image004NORTH CAROLINA WON’T BE BULLIED BY BIG BUSINESS HYPOCRITES (FoxNews’ Todd Starnes says PayPal, the website known for processing online payments, believes grown men have a constitutional right to use the same bathrooms as little girls. So when North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory signed a bill that banned people from using bathrooms not assigned to their birth sex, PayPal became enraged and retaliated. They canceled plans to open a new operations center in Charlotte – a facility that would’ve employed more than 400 workers. “The new law perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture,” CEO Dan Schulman wrote in a memorandum on the company’s website. That’s what a corporate bully looks like, folks. Conform to the demands of radical cultural militants or pay the price. “It is corporate blackmail,” Lt. Gov. Dan Forest told me. But PayPal is not just a big business bully – they are also hypocrites. “PayPal does business in 25 countries where homosexual behavior is illegal, including five where the penalty is death,” NC Rep. Robert Pittenger wrote on Facebook. “Yet, they object to the North Carolina legislature overturning a misguided ordinance about letting men into the women’s bathroom?”) [READ MORE HERE]image003 Other Stories The Blower Will Be Tracking Tonight Include:

TRUMP WALKS ONSTAGE AT FIRST NY RALLY – CROWD INSTANTLY CHANTS TWO STUNNING WORDS (After a humiliating defeat in Wisconsin, Donald Trump rolled into the next primary state with much better prospects. New Yorkers are responding in a big way to homeboy Trump, and at one of his first big rallies a chant started showing that New Yorkers are all in for The Donald. But it was a chant that should send one GOP opponent scowling. After the real estate mogul bounced onto the stage in Bethpage, N.Y., the crowd of 10,000 erupted in a chant of “Lyin’ Ted,” causing Trump to beam proudly from the podium. It showed plainly what a different audience New Yorkers are than Wisconsinites for this GOP primary season.)

STATE DEPARTMENT HANDS OVER 1,100 PAGES OF BENGHAZI RECORDS (The State Department on Friday handed over more than 1,100 pages of records to the committee investigating the deaths of U.S. citizens in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012, the chairman of the House of Representatives panel said. The records included files from senior employees during the time Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, according to a statement by Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy. “It is deplorable that it took over a year for these records to be produced to our committee, and that our Democrat colleagues never lifted a finger to help us get them,” Gowdy’s statement reads. “Shame on them and everyone else who has demanded this committee to give up before gathering all of the facts.)image005

DOJ FINALLY TURNS OVER ‘FAST AND FURIOUS’ DOCS THAT IT FOUGHT RELEASING FOR 4 YEARS, AFTER COURT REJECTS ‘EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE’ EXCUSE (The U.S. Justice Department says it has turned over to Congress a cache of additional documents related to the botched gun-smuggling operation known as Operation Fast and Furious. The Obama administration had for the last four years refused to provide the documents to House Republicans, invoking a claim of executive privilege. But a federal judge on January 19 turned aside that argument, saying the agency had already disclosed through other channels much of the information it was seeking to withhold.)image006

OBAMA’S FORMER PENTAGON CHIEFS: MILITARY SUFFERED FROM OVERBEARING, INEXPERIENCED WHITE HOUSE (Free Beacon reports The U.S. military has been hindered by an overbearing and inexperienced White House under President Barack Obama, according to each of his three former defense secretaries, causing the Pentagon to struggle to carry out operations and make decisions. “It was the operational micromanagement that drove me nuts, of White House and [National Security Council] staffers calling senior commanders out in the field and asking them questions, of second-guessing commanders,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates told Bret Baier in a new Fox News special called “Rising Threats, Shrinking Military.”)

JUDGE TELLS KIDS ‘STOP ACTING LIKE TRASH’ IN EPIC SPEECH (What do you call it when a judge warns a kid about prison rape? Tough love. Judge Verda Colvin pretty much shredded a courtroom full of children with her warnings about what happens to the incarcerated.)

TODAY’S “STUPID LIBERAL LIAR” AWARD GOES TO

Hillary, who laughed off as a “fantasy” the Republicans’ hopes that the federal probe into her use of a private email server will lead to her being led off in handcuffs. “It’s a security review, and there are lots of those that are conducted in our government all the time, and you don’t hear about most of them.”image007image003
