But Billy Crystal says ‘Ah, he’s only mostly dead,’” Cruz said, before launching into a lengthy (and pretty spot-on) Billy Crystal impersonation. After Cruz finished his recitation, the roomful of journalists applauded. “My media team is now having a heart attack,” he joked.

DemocRAT National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was at a loss for words late last month when asked for the difference between a DemocRAT and socialist during an interview on PMSNBC’s Hardball. At first the Florida Representative laughed and brushed the question off. “You’re Chairman of the DemocRAT Party,” host Chris Matthews pressed Wasserman Schultz. “Tell me the difference between you and a socialist.” Instead of answering, Wasserman Schultz responded to a completely different question. “The relevant debate that we’ll be having over the course of this campaign is what’s the difference between a DemocRAT and a Republican,” she said. “The difference between a DemocRAT and Republican is that DemocRAT fight to make sure that everybody has an opportunity to succeed and the Republicans are strangled by their right-wing extremists.” Campus Reform asked Millennials in Washington, D.C., what they thought the difference is between DemocRATS and socialists and, like Wasserman Schultz, they were unable to answer the question.
