To Take Advantage Of All Those Free Offers
The Anderson Veterans Society says reveille will be at 0600 Wednesday morning where Veterans of all races, creeds, and sexual orientations can begin boarding the busses for the Second Annual Veterans Day Grub Crawl at Ohio Second District Congressman’s Office, located at 7954 PFC James Miller IV Memorial Highway (aka Beechmont Avenue), so Anderson Veterans can visit every one of the 487 area restaurants in Anderson and the surrounding tri-state areas offering Free Food for Veterans on Veterans Day 2015.
WLW Phony Patriot Bill Cunningham says Freeloaders Pretending to be Veterans couldn’t believe all the free meals they could scam last year on Veterans Day at places like Applebees (Free Meal); Bob Evans (free all–you-can-eat hotcakes); Carrabba’s (Free Appetizer Nov. 9-11) Chili’s (Free Meal); Denny’s (All You Can Eat Pancakes); Golden Corral (Free Meal); Hooters (Free Meal a free meal up to $10.99 in value with any drink purchase); Krispy Kreme (Free Doughnut & Coffee); Little Caesars (Free Crazy Bread); Longhorn Steakhouse (Free App); Max & Erma’s (Free Cheeseburger Combo Meal with Dessert); McCormick and Schmick’s (Free Entree on November 10); O’Charley’s (Free Meal); Olive Garden (Free Meal); Outback Steakhouse (Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage); Red Lobster (Free App & drink From Nov. 11 – Nov. 14); Red Robin (Free Burger and Fries); Sizzler (Free Lunch); Starbucks (Free Coffee); TGI Fridays (Free Lunch); and Uno’s (buy one entrée or pizza and get one free).
Among the non-food freebies, Great Clips is giving anyone who gets a haircut on November 11 a card that a veteran or active-duty military service member can later use for a free haircut; UFC Gyms in nearby Columbus is giving free gym access to those with military ID and their families from November 11 to 15; Meineke offers free oil changes with military ID on Veterans Day; and at Yellowstone and every other National Park, admission is free for everyone on November 11, but you still have to pay your membership to the Anderson Dog Park on Kellogg Avenue.
Only in The Blower were people able to read about how Veterans could pig out on Pork Loin from Pelican’s Reef at the Anderson Center at 5 PM on Veterans Day. Also at Anderson High School, a Veterans Wall is being dedicated at 7 PM to thank Anderson Alumni all of races, creeds, and sexual orientations for serving their country.
In all cases, Veterans should be sure to bring your ID with your proof of status as a current or former member of the military. This would include your DD-214 Form, Dog Tags, Sharpshooters Medals, shot records, and Obama has just signed an executive order allowing Gay Veterans to give each other short arm inspections in the restrooms.
