More Politics Unusual

image005image006THE LATEST POLLS: Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen says no matter what some elected officials tell them, Americans just aren’t buying the need for a lot more gun control. It doesn’t help that 77% of voters believe most politicians raise gun issues just to get elected rather than to address real problems. Democrats are just as dubious of these politicians as Republicans are. Voters are also more supportive these days of their constitutional right to own a gun. By a 48% to 43% margin, voters see no need for stricter gun control.  Far more (61%) believe the United States needs stricter enforcement of the gun control laws that are already on the books. image005OUR LATE NIGHT TV JOKEWATCHER liked Jimmy Fallon’s: As I’m sure you’ve heard, Donald Trump is in the building getting ready to host “Saturday Night Live.” There’s actually a lot of anti-Trump protesters outside the building — or as Trump put it, “Those people have been lining up for days to see me.” Jimmy Kimmel said: A new Quinnipiac University poll came out yesterday that shows Donald Trump back on top of Ben Carson, 24 to 23 percent, and Jeb Bush is now down to only 4 percent. More people picked Bit-O-Honey as their favorite Halloween candy than support Jeb Bush for president. Seth Meyers said: Dr. Ben Carson’s campaign today released a new 60-second radio ad that uses rap music to try to appeal to black voters. So there you have it: Get out and vote for Ben Carson on November 3rd, 1992.

image005HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date in 1994, for the first time in 40 years, the Republican Party under the leadership of Newt Gingrich won control of both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate in midterm Congressional elections, but until Republicans stop sending RINOs to Washington and elect a Conservative President, America will continue off course toward the abyss.

image005THAT’S WHY OUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE chose The Newtster’s “Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.”

image005LIBERAL LUNACY:
In Human Events’ “365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy,” #316 is to tell a joke: Why should liberals be buried 100 feet below the ground? A. Because deep down they are really good people.

image005JOHN GALT says, “The symbol of all relationships among such men, the moral symbol of respect for human beings, is the trade…A trader is a man who earns what he gets and does not give or take the undeserved.”

image005image010IN LAST WEEK’S COLUMN FROM PATRONAGE COUNTY TITLED “No Explanations,” nothing much happened at the Patronage County Political Headquarters Wednesday morning, except that Hereditary Party Chairman Peter Principal came out of hiding long enough to answer a few questions from the news media. This op-ed column first appeared in the Mt. Washington Press on November 10, 1982.

image005image012MORE POLITICAL POETRY: Election Day is over and we have another timely poem from Bunky Tadwell, the Bard of Cleves.

          A Government You Deserve
          Congress is a sorry lot
          But that is nothing new.
So you folks should not complain too much
Since they were voted in by you.

image005image013MEANWHILE, OUR MUCKRAKER  says after “In Russ We Trust” Jackson’s good friend, former Anderson Avaricious Attorney Chris Finney won his case allowing politicians the “Right to Lie” during political campaigns, it really came in handy last week in the Anderson Trustee race.

image005WHISTLEBLOWER SENIOR BUSINESS EDITOR MERRILL FORBES
says traders will look to retail data next week for further support of economic growth — from the consumer. “As the market digests (the jobs report) we’ll continue to look for strength in follow-up for economic activity,” said James Dunigan, chief investment officer at PNC Asset Management.

image005image022THE FREE GRAIN PARTY still stands as the last refuge of anyone willing to help himself from the stores of others, and GOP presidential hopeful Jeb Bush knew exactly what he was doing when he insulted African-American voters by alleging that the DemocRATS buy their votes with “free stuff.” In fact, it was no accident that he hurled his slur at D-RATS at a campaign stop in South Carolina.

Free Grain Party Members include all DemocRATS (especially Black Voters who sell their votes for FREE Stuff), RINO Republicans, some TEA Partiers, quite a few Independents, disgruntled postal workers, senior citizens demanding free prescriptions, those who believe bigger government is the answer to all their problems, everybody who said “what Bill Clinton did was indefensible, but he shouldn’t be removed from office,” and those who think pork-barrel spending is OK as long as their district gets the money.

Unfortunately, that group probably doesn’t include all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, and get all of their information from our Obama Supporters in the Press.

image005image025FINALLY, AT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA, Political Insiders Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster what if there were any lessons to be learned from the 2015 Elections. “There was really nothing for Conservatives to celebrate in Anderson,” Kane explained, “not when the entire township will be suffering the consequences for the next 1,458 Days until November 5, 2019 until they can repair the damage.  It’s just like when  they elected Disgraced Former Masturbating Trustee Kevin P. O’Brien, and Persons of Consequence who subscribe to The Blower all know how well that turned out.

 IS IT COLLECTION TIME AGAIN?

image026Once again, it’s “Collection Time,” and this weekend your Neighborhood News Boy or Girl will be stopping by to collect $3.50 for delivery of this month’s Blower. The children retain half of this amount plus any tips you give them to reward good service.

This week we’re featuring Eldon Pudpuller was a very troubled 12-year-old lad who ran up a whopping $38,000 telephone bill last month making calls to 1-900 phone-sex lines. But that was before he became a Whistleblower Neighborhood News Boy. For information about our carrier program, please call Mr. Scamwell at our circulation department.

AND COMING UP IN “THE WEEK THAT WILL BE”

image005image028MONDAY (NOVEMBER 9) we’ll be telling you everything you need to know about Tuesday’s Republican debates as we continue to count down the 437 Days of Dishonesty and Division for America remaining during the Dark Ages of Obama’s Second Term, unless the First Black President in History is impeached.

image005TUESDAY (NOVEMBER 10) we’ll be in Milwaukee covering the Republican Debates and our “Real E-Mails from Real Subscribers” will be telling us what to expect from Ohio Governor Kasich this time.

image005WEDNESDAY, (NOVEMBER 11) will actually be the Veterans Day Federal holiday and members of the military past and present will be eating free at patriotic restaurants all over town, and our snitches will be telling us if they see Draft Dodger Bill Cunningham and any of those other Freeloaders Pretending to be Veterans scamming free meals too.

image005THURSDAY (NOVEMBER 12) we’ll still be honoring Veterans because one day is just not enough.

image005THE FIRST LINE OF FRIDAY’S (NOVEMBER 13) LIMERICK IS: “This year on Veterans Day.”

image005AND SATURDAY (NOVEMBER 14) we’ll trying to figure out why we have to watch that so-called DemocRAT Debate in Des Moines with Hillary, the real Bernie Sanders (not comedian Larry David) and that O’Malley guy.

image032Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially since everybody’s wondering how funny it would be if the job of arresting $tan Che$ley in Ohio on that Boondoggle County bench warrant was handed off to $tan’s former law partner at Cincinnati Legal, “JayWalking Joe” Deters,” as this Award Winning Illustration from Artis Conception’s Archives remembers.
