The 41st Season Begins
Saturday Night Live opened a new season last weekend, and everybody at The Conservative Agenda has been wondering if the show would be fair-and-balanced this year, or would we be seeing their Liberal Bias as usual:
Last weekend (October 4), Donald Trump (Taran Killam) and his wife, Melania (Cecily Strong), cleared up some of the misconceptions about him, like that he hates women and immigrants.
And Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) confided her concerns about the 2016 presidential race to her bartender, Val (Hillary Clinton).
This weekend (October 11), the talent in Studio 8h wasted no time in their second episode of the season by opening up with a spot-on impression of the hosts of Fox and Friends. Actors Taran Killam, Vanessa Bayer, and Bobby Moynihan impersonated Steve Doocy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Brian Kilmeade respectively in the show’s cold open, skewering the daily cable news morning show. SNL favorite Kate McKinnon played DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the opening sketch as well.
