Why Aren’t They Lining Up Already?
Downtown DemocRATS were really depressed this week, because although Early Voting in Ohio officially began on Tuesday at the Hamilton County Board of Elections, those long lines of Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, and get all of their information from our Obama Supporters in the Press, have not yet shown up to vote early in all those really important local elections we all just can’t hear enough about in the local Liberal News Media.
Early DemocRAT Voter Fraud in Ohio had also officially begun at your local Board of Elections, but even that wasn’t enough to bring Dumbed-Down D-RATS out to stand in line for their FREE stuff this week.
Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says you’re not likely to see those long lines in Kentucky, either, since there’s no such thing as “Early Voting” in Kentucky. They only have “Absentee Voting.” And to get an Absentee Ballot, voters actually have to write or go to the County Clerk’s Office and apply for one. And applicants must actually state a valid reason, under oath, why they can’t vote on Election Day like everyone else. It’s not like Ohio where anybody can “vote early and often” just because people like Hamilton County Demo-Labor Party Boss Tim Burka, Free-Stuff Dispensing Liberals, Rhyming Reverends, and Union Goons tell you to.
Now Let’s Meet Today’s Guest Editor:
Why, it’s none other than Hereditary Patronage County Party Boss Peter Principal, who was forced to lay off most of his Early Voting Staff at his Board of Elections this week because not that many people are showing up to vote early and often for their FREE stuff, even any of the Deceased DemocRATS being investigated in that Pot Petition Scam throughout every Middlesex, Village, and Farm in Ohio.
Which is why The Blower is honored to choose Hereditary Patronage County Party Boss Peter Principal to be this week’s guest editor and choose three breaking news items plus a Quickie for today’s E-dition from our Current Cadre of Conservative Columnists and Contributors that you probably won’t see reported in your Morning Fishwrap.
So Why Did Kevin McCarthy Drop Out of the Speaker’s Race Yesterday?
Maybe it was because Republican North Carolina Congressman Walter Jones warned all candidates for Speaker of the House to drop out of the race if skeletons in their closets might embarrass the Republican Party.
Breitbart reports Jones sent a letter Wednesday to Republican Conference chairman Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) issuing a challenge to House Speaker candidates Reps. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), and Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL).
“Some of the most difficult times have been when our Republican leaders or potential Republican leaders must step down because of skeletons in their closets,” Jones wrote. “We’ve seen it with former Speaker Newt Gingrich and Rep. Bob Livingston, who ran for Speaker in 1998.”
Jones’ reference to Bob Livingston makes clear that he thinks adultery should be one of the disqualifying skeletons in the race. Livingston withdrew from the Speaker’s race after Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt put out an open call for stories about Republican lawmakers cheating on their wives.
“With all the voter distrust of Washington felt around the country, I’m asking that any candidate for Speaker of the House, majority leader, and majority whip withdraw himself from the leadership election if there are any misdeeds he has committed since joining Congress that will embarrass himself, the Republican Conference, and the House of Representatives if they become public,” Jones wrote. Boehner Says He’ll Stay Around Until His Replacement Is Chosen
The Washington Times reports House Speaker John A. Boehner said Thursday he’ll stay in Congress until there’s a replacement speaker — raising the possibility he could stay on beyond the end-of-October retirement date he’d set for himself. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, his top lieutenant and the man expected to succeed him, withdrew from the race in a surprise move, sending House Republicans into disarray. Mr. Boehner canceled the elections that had been scheduled for Thursday afternoon to choose the next speaker, and afterward issued a statement saying he’s not going anywhere — for now. “As I have said previously, I will serve as speaker until the House votes to elect a new speaker,” he said. “We will announce the date for this election at a later date, and I’m confident we will elect a new speaker in the coming weeks.” He had set an Oct. 29 date for an election in the whole House, which would have chosen his replacement and ushered him into retirement. That could still happen, but with the House scheduled to be on vacation next week and a major hearing with former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton slated for the week after, it’s unclear whether such a deadline is likely.
Number of sanctuary cities grows to 340; thousands of illegals released to commit new crimes
The Washington Times reports The list of sanctuary cities has grown to more than 340, and they shielded an average of 1,000 immigrants a month from deportation last year — and more than 2,000 of those released have already been arrested for yet more crimes, according to a report being released Thursday by the Center for Immigration Studies.
Among those released are illegal immigrants accused of murders and brutal assaults, said Jessica Vaughan, the author of the report, which comes just as the Senate is poised to begin debating legislation to try to crack down on sanctuary jurisdictions.
“Our elected officials must not sit back and watch these sanctuary jurisdictions continue to release thousands of criminal aliens back into our communities in defiance of ICE efforts to deport them, and then witness the harm that inevitably ensues when these removable offenders strike again,” said Jessica Vaughan, the report’s author.
Sanctuary cities exploded onto front pages in July, when a Kathryn Steinle, a 32-year-old woman, was killed while walking with her father in San Francisco, and an illegal immigrant released by the county was charged with the shooting.
Luckily, there are no Sanctuary Cities in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana at this time; however, Cincinnati City Hall has been called a Sanctuary for Stupidity from time to time.

Today’s Liberal Liar Award
The Gawker reports Disingenuous DemocRAT Senator Harry Reid announced on Wednesday that he is suing the company that produces and markets a rubber exercise band. The move comes after an unfortunate accident last New Years’ Day, in which Reid’s exercise band “broke or slipped,” causing him to fall and suffer injuries to his face, eye, and ribs. He explained the injury last January. […]
A closer read of the case shows that the Reids are claiming loss of marital consortium, a legal term defined as the “inability of one’s spouse to have normal marital relations, which is a euphemism for sexual intercourse.”
