Calling All Conservatives!

With the counter at the lower right hand corner of the Whistleblower Web Page still clicking off the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until Ken Broo calls his “He’s Outta Here, He’s Waaay Outta Here” play-by-play, The Blower says Disgraced Republican House Speaker John Boehner is now trying to pull another fast one.

But The Disassociated Press reports Boehner is postponing potential internal House GOP elections for majority leader and whip. That means House Republicans will only vote behind closed doors this Thursday to choose a nominee for Speaker to replace Boehner upon his departure from Congress at the end of the month.

GrassTopsUSA.com says, “So if you’re trying to figure out what is going on, it’s really quite simple: Right after John Boehner announced his resignation-in-disgrace, the reflexive move was to hold elections as soon as possible so that John Boehner and Barack Obama’s hand-picked choice, RINO Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, could assume the post before Conservative Congressmen and the American people had the time to mount opposition to McCarthy.”

But patriotic Americans may have thwarted that plan. Perhaps all your faxes and calls are already having the desired effect, because McCarthy doesn’t have the votes to become the next Speaker of the House and John Boehner has now moved on to Plan B.

By holding the election the day before he steps down, Boehner is implementing his ‘Let’s-Wait-Until-The-Very-Last-Minute-Strategy’ which has served him so well in the past… it’s a strategy of manufactured crisis borrowed from Barack Hussein Obama.

Boehner honestly believes that once October 29 rolls around, he’ll be able to bully conservative House Members into voting for McCarthy by simply telling them that there’s simply not enough time to quibble over who should be the next Speaker of the House.

But maybe Boehner’s out-smarted himself this time. We’re going to see to it that his little ploy backfires… big-time. He’s essentially given patriotic Americans, like you, even more time to deluge Congress with calls and faxes DEMANDING THAT A CONSERVATIVE BE ELECTED AS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE.

Kevin McCarthy has already proven that he is NOT that man.

As a Conservative, he scores a Big Fat F. Conservative Review gives him a pathetic score of 45% and Heritage Action (the activist arm of the Heritage Foundation) gives him a somewhat less pathetic lifetime score of 53%.

McCarthy voted to enable Obama’s Executive Amnesty Decree. According to Heritage Action: “The House voted on the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act (H.R. 240), as amended by the Senate. The Senate amendment, offered by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) removed essential language included by the House. As amended, H.R. 240 does nothing to prevent the President Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty.”

Just a few days ago, McCarthy was one of the GOP Elites who went against 151 members of the Republican Caucus in the House and quietly locked arms with Obama in the dark of night and gave him yet another blank check. McCarthy voted to give Obama all the ObamaCare funding he wants… McCarthy voted to give Obama the money that Planned Parenthood will use to dismember innocent children and sell their body parts for profit… McCarthy voted to give Obama the money to further implement his illegal and unconstitutional Executive Amnesty Decree… and McCarthy voted to give Obama all the money he wants to implement his unconstitutional and suicidal deal with the mullahs of Iran… no questions asked

And McCarthy also voted in favor of giving Obama Fast-Track Trade Promotion Authority. Heritage Action again: “H.R. 1314 combines President Obama’s request for fast track authority or Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) with a stimulus-level extension of the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program. The vote for this bill was spilt into two parts, one on TAA and the other on TPA.”

Of course, McCarthy started out as a Conservative, but like so many politicians in Washington, he simply grew in office, as the following graph, courtesy of the American Conservative Union, illustrates:

One thing is certain. If Kevin McCarthy becomes Speaker of the House, it will be business as usual in Washington. The abysmal Boehner legacy will go on. Capitulation to the radical Obama agenda will continue, and patriotic Americans have fought too hard to give up this fight now that victory is firmly in our grasp.

Congressman Tim Huelskamp told The Hill, the publication of record for the DC political class: “We have enough votes in the House Freedom Caucus to prevent anybody from being Speaker [and we] will be a voting bloc,” and Huelskamp added that there may be as many as 20 other members of the Republican Caucus who are willing to vote against Kevin McCarthy as well.

And why is Huelskamp’s statement significant? Simply put, it takes a minimum of 218 votes for a Member of Congress to be elevated to the Speaker of the House… PERIOD.

There are presently 247 Republicans in the House of Representatives. If 30 (or more) members of the Republican Caucus vote for another Republican and 217 vote for McCarthy, McCarthy is NOT elevated to Speaker of the House and Members must continue voting until a candidate reaches the magic number of 218.

Incidentally, that also means that Nancy Pelosi (or any other Democrat for that matter) will NEVER be elevated to Speaker of the House because the Democrats simply don’t have enough members in their caucus to reach the magic number of 218.

Simply put, if 30 (or more) Republicans stand firm, after multiple ballots are taken, the Washington Elites will be forced to give up the ghost and select another candidate… a candidate who is acceptable to them, House conservatives and patriotic Americas. Stopping John Boehner’s political son, Kevin McCarthy, is that easy.

However, there is a problem. The Washington Cartel is already working on those members of Congress who want a conservative Speaker of the House. Promised of goodies are being made… Arms are being twisted… Threats are being made… And if these brave Conservative leaders don’t hear from you right now, they will assume that you don’t care and they will make deals; and we’ve come too far to allow that to happen.

Victory is within your grasp, but victory depends upon the actions that you take at this very moment. The choice is yours and yours alone. If you say nothing, business as usual will continue in Washington. If you speak out, we can finally start to thwart the radical Obama agenda.

The Conservative Agenda says “Call your Congressman today and tell him to support a Conservative Speaker of the House.” Obviously, that would not be Boehner’s Buttboy Kevin McCarthy.

The Blower’s pretty sure Northern Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie knows what to do, since he was one of the twenty-five Republican Congressmen who voted against Boehner’s third term as speaker in January.
