This Sunday in America…
… at the Church of The Compassionate Conservative, Beloved Whistleblower Publisher, the Right-Wing Reverend Charles Foster Kane was asking his Political Parishioners to ask for God’s help to find Courage for Christians during Obama’s War on Religion following the Oregon Victims who were asked their religion before being killed by a half-Black Racist Murderer on Thursday.
“Imagine if you were in that position,” Kane said. “Knowing if you said yes, it was likely the wrong answer to such a shooter, maybe if you were a little bit down the line already, having seen other people respond yes and get shot?”
While Obama rattled his tedious gun-control talking points during his Second Amendment rant to politicize the mass murders, Compassionate Conservatives wondered how much courage it must have taken in the face of such evil to still pronounce your faith.
There were no soothing words for Christians from Obama, no rebuke of religious bigotry. Then Dr. Ben Carson made one simple but powerful and affirming gesture … and it has gone viral. It only took four hours on Friday for this image of the Republican candidate holding up an “I am a Christian” sign to be shared close to 80,000 times and receive over 625,000 “likes” on Facebook. The post was so successful the retired neurosurgeon shared an #IamAChristian hashtag. Supporters could make the image their Facebook profile picture.
It is not clear that all those killed were in fact Christians. Lawrence Levine the teacher was shot right away without being asked the question. He was Jewish, a fact that the shooter, who was a student in the class, may have known.
Who was the bravest person in America on Thursday,” Kane asked. “The second to admit to being a Christian after the UCC Shooter murdered the first, along with third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth.”
