More Politics Unusual

image006image007 - CopyTHE LATEST POLLS: Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen says Donald Trump made headlines with a political rally in a football stadium and his televised confrontation with Univision activist/commentator Jorge Ramos. Rasmussen Reports’ latest Trump Change survey shows belief that Trump will be the next Republican presidential nominee inching up among both GOP voters and voters in general. [READ MORE HERE]

image006OUR LATE NIGHT TV JOKEWATCHER liked Jimmy Kimmel’s: “All the new polls indicate that Donald Trump is getting more popular every day. Apparently his inspiring riches to riches story is really resonating with everyday Americans. Right now members of the Republican National Committee are essentially the scientists in a movie realizing their creation has escaped from the lab. Even though Trump is on top, 54% of voters, don’t believe he’s trustworthy or honest. If Donald Trump is dishonest, what’s he going to say when he starts being honest? They did a nationwide survey that found that when voters think of Donald Trump, the most common word that comes to mind is “Arrogant.” When the same voters think of Hillary Clinton, the most common word they use is “Liar.” When they think of Jeb Bush, the first word that comes to mind is “Bush.” Voters don’t even care enough about Jeb Bush to come up with a word to describe him.

image009 - Copy image006HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date Confederates under Edmund Kirby Smith rout a Union army at Richmond, Kentucky, in one of the most lopsided engagements of the Civil War. The loss was complete for the Yankees. More than 4,300 of the 6,500 Federals were captured, including Manson and his entire staff. Confederate losses stood at 98 killed, 492 wounded, and 10 missing out of 6,800. The Rebels captured Lexington two days later, waving their Confederate Flags.

image006THAT’S WHY OUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE chose Edmund Kirby Smith’s:I have broken all ties that bind me to the (U.S.) Army, not suddenly, impulsively, but conscientiously and after due deliberation. I sacrifice more to my principles than any other officer in the Army can do. I would rather carry a musket in the cause of the South than be commander-in-chief under Mr. Lincoln.”

image006LIBERAL LUNACY:
In Human Events’ “365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy, #256 is to Define Multiculturalism as the state-sanctioned grievance industry that stokes division and resentment, while always under the delusion that it is doing something positive called “celebrating diversity.”

image006image013 - CopyIN LAST WEEK’S COLUMN FROM PATRONAGE COUNTY TITLED “Have a Nice Weekend” our Patronage County Reporter found out one sure sign of the high degree in which the work ethic is held by most residents in Patronage County these days is everybody’s fanatical obsession with telling everyone they meet to have a nice weekend.  This op-ed column first appeared in the feisty Mt. Washington Press personally edited by eminently renowned publisher Dennis Nichols on August 15, 1984.

image006image015 - CopyMORE PUTRID POETRY: Children have now returned to schools and we have another timely poem from Bunky Tadwell, the Bard of Cleves.

image006image016 - CopyMEANWHILE, OUR MUCKRAKER says some Citizens for Community Values wants to know why the mainstream media is not reporting that the shooter of the news team was the militant gay activist who screamed false racist accusations, but also accused many of homophobia.  Ironically, non-us media stations are covering it!

image006WHISTLEBLOWER SENIOR BUSINESS EDITOR MERRILL FORBES
reports according to CNBC, Given where we are at the moment, the S&P 500 is on track to end the week up less than 1%. But that has been anything but the story. Given the intraday highs and lows this week, we have seen a range of 6.7 percent between the two extremes. That’s been the fuller story. So with a week like this—generally “flat” by the end, but with a huge swing along the way—how has the market done the following week? Before you go through all the data: The lesson is, be ready for another roller coaster ride, and a week that won’t end up flat like this week did.

image006THE FREE GRAIN PARTY
still stands as the last refuge of anyone willing to help himself from the stores of others, and Doofus DemocRAT Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders is introducing a revolutionary bill in the Senate which will end tuition at all public colleges and universities in the United States. This legislation will also significantly reduce the interest rate on student loans.

Free Grain Party Members include all DemocRATS, RINO Republicans, some TEA Partiers, quite a few Independents, disgruntled postal workers, senior citizens demanding free prescriptions, those who believe bigger government is the answer to all their problems, everybody who said “what Bill Clinton did was indefensible, but he shouldn’t be removed from office,” and those who think pork-barrel spending is OK as long as their district gets the money.

Unfortunately, that group probably doesn’t include all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, and get all of their information from our Obama Supporters in the Press.

image006image027AND AT SUNDAY MORNING’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane about that old 2010 Calendar on the wall with the “August 30” date circled in red. “That’s the date “Crazy Eric” Deters filed that frivolous lawsuit against us back when he still had his law license,” Kane explained.

image034Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially Ohio Governor John Kasich, still wondering why he does so poorly in all those Conservative Polls, as this Award Winning Illustration from Artis Conception’s Archives clearly shows.
