Planned Parenthood Under Attack
LifeSiteNews reports two more states have defunded Planned Parenthood in light of videos showing the organization has been engaged in the illegal sale of body parts from aborted babies.
Friday, Utah Republican Governor Gary Herbert said that “allegations against Planned Parenthood are deeply troubling,” and ordered his state’s Department of Health to stop sending federal funds to Planned Parenthood.
Arkansas Republican Governor Asa Hutchinson likewise said his state was ending Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood. “It is apparent that after the recent revelations on the actions of Planned Parenthood, that this organization does not represent the values of the people of our state and Arkansas is better served by terminating any and all existing contracts with them,” Hutchinson said in a statement.
More than $400 million of Planned Parenthood’s over $500 million in public funding comes from Medicaid and other programs that combine state and federal funds.
Five states have now de-funded Planned Parenthood in the wake of the scandal, the others being Alabama, New Hampshire, and Louisiana. The Daily Signal reports that 13 states have launched investigations into Planned Parenthood’s practices after the Center for Medical Progress’ undercover video series was launched earlier this summer.
Pro-Lifers in the Tri-State note that Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana are not on that list.
This morning The Blower received an e-mail from Ohio Second District Podiatrist/ Congressman Brad Wenstrup telling us those vile-and-disgusting videos exposing the abortion industry behind closed doors are “sickening” and it’s finally time to defund Planned Parenthood, because as a civilized society that values life, this darkness is intolerable.
Dr. Brad also says, “One video could possibly be an isolated incident. Unfortunately, the multitude of videos shows us these actions are common practice at Planned Parenthood. An organization that participates in the mutilation of babies for profit cannot receive another dime of taxpayer money.”
Dr. Brad then quotes Kurt Tucholsky, a reporter in the Weimar Republic, who once said, “A country is not just what it does-it is also what it tolerates.” We can no longer tolerate the realities of Planned Parenthood mass abortions, and says we should join him in the fight to end the $500 million over-taxed payers give to Planned Parenthood every year, because it’s past time.

Did you really think we’d be taken to a web site where we could sign a petition? Fat chance of that! because it was just, You guessed it, just another solicitation from a money-grubbing elected official hitting us up for a donation (of up to $2,700) because he claimed he was fighting for something we really care about.
It was just like Rahm Emanuel always says, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
At this afternoon’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher how politicians can claim to be fighting for something when all they’re really doing is trying to raise money off dead babies. “It’s just Politics as Usual,” Kane explained. “After all, if Baby Killers at Planned Parenthood can make money selling dead baby parts, politicians can make money fighting both for and against Planned Parenthood. At least Donald Trump says there’d be no more money for Planned Parenthood as long as they were killing babies.”
