New Ideas for Tired Old Campaigns
At yesterday’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane whatever happened to his idea for front-running presidential candidates to announce all their choices for Cabinet Secretaries and Supreme Court Justices during the primary campaign to expand their base of support and let voters would know more about the person their party was nominating. Plus, that front-runner would be flooding the zone with surrogates.
“I remember asking Revered Ohio Congressman Bob McEwen to run the idea by Rick Perry during that short period when The Texas Governor was ahead in the polls during the 2012 Presidential Primary Campaign,” Kane explained, “but that window of opportunity closed quickly because by the time McEwen got around to asking Rick Perry, he was no longer the front-runner, and it didn’t make much sense to pursue the matter then.”
This time around, Donald Trump might’ve picked up on the idea, when Trump Twittered Attorney General Trey Gowdy would be the Liberals’ Worst Nightmare.
The Conservative Tribune says Congressman Gowdy, whose tenacious manner with Liberals and Obama administration officials has earned him the nickname “The Bulldog,” has been a Conservative favorite for quite some time now. In fact, even before the 2014 Republican sweep of Congress, political action group the TEA Party Leadership Fund endorsed Gowdy to take over John Boehner’s position as speaker of the House. While Gowdy didn’t get that job, it might be even more satisfying seeing the South Carolina Bulldog at Eric Holder’s old desk, prosecuting all of those DemocRATS let slide during the Obama administration.
And if that wouldn’t be enough for Conservatives, Trump also said that he would like to include Sarah Palin in his cabinet. “I’d love that,” Trump said during an interview on Mama Grizzly Radio. “Because she really is somebody who knows what’s happening and she’s a special person, she’s really a special person and I think people know that. And, she’s got a following that’s unbelievable.”
Think of all the fun it would be trying to pick some of Trump’s other choices. It would drive all those Professional Political Pundits in the Liberal News Media crazy. Maybe some of The Blower’s Conservative Persons of Consequence could come up with a few suggestions.
At this point, Fox News Anchorbabe Megyn Kelley would might not be Trump’s first choice for Press Secretary, but stay tuned. Donald Trump is changing all the rules during this Republican Primary Campaign Season. And think of the ratings that announcement on TV would get.
