Calling For Some Real “Media Madness”

image004Months ago during March Madness, when everybody was wasting time filling out brackets for the NCAA Basketball tournament, The Blower wondered what it would look like if the Republican National Committee used a bracketing format for their 2016 Presidential Debates.

image005Let’s face it folks, as entertaining as FOX NEWS’ American President Game Show in Cleveland turned out to be, voters really didn’t learn anything.

image005At yesterday’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda, Beloved Whistleblower Charles Foster Kane told political insiders that any one of those seventeen Republican candidates on stage in Cleveland would make a better president than all of the Dishonest DemocRATS candidates combined, and Thursday night, Florida Senator Marco Rubio said, “God has blessed us with some very good candidates. The DemocRATS can’t even find one. ”

image005That’s why Republicans need to get rid of  those over-hyped, two-tier joint presidential press conferences, because people attempting to speculate which candidate won or even improved his or her position Thursday night, are just talking to hear themselves talk.

image005There needs to be a better way to organize the so-called “debates” so voters could really learn something about the candidates, and candidates deserve a chance to express their points of view with more than sixty seconds on the clock. The most interesting and informative moment Thursday night was when Rand Paul and Chris Christie went off-format and started duking it out mano a mano. For that brief instant, our TV Game Show actually began to resemble a “Real Debate.”

image005That’s why The Blower is again calling for the Republican National Committee to build a real debate schedule around a hypothetical tournament bracket for some Real Media Madness. The Hype Potential would be incredible. Thanks to Matt Rivera at NBC News for imagining what a tournament bracket might look like based on Republican candidates polling position.  image006
