This Sunday in America…at the Church of The Compassionate Conservative, Beloved Whistleblower Publisher, once again the Right-Wing Reverend Charles Foster Kane was asking God’s help “Praying for Precise and Plainspoken Political Punditry, because during this Fake News Pandemic, America needs accurate and honest expert opinions more than ever.
Wikipedia says: Fake news is a type of yellow journalism or propaganda that consists of deliberate misinformation or hoaxes spread via traditional print and broadcast news media or online social media.[1] Fake news is written and published with the intent to mislead in order to damage an agency, entity, or person, and/or gain financially or politically, often with sensationalist, exaggerated, or patently false headlines that grab attention.[2][3][4] Intentionally misleading and deceptive fake news is different from obvious satire or parody which is intended to humor rather than mislead its audience.
The Trumpster railed against “Fake News” during much of the 2016 Presidential Campaign, but according to The Fix, Trump’s first-ever tweet containing the phrase “fake news” was posted on Dec. 10, 2016, more than a month after Election Day. By then, the press had reported extensively on the way social media platforms such as Facebook facilitated the spread of fake news articles.
And for sure, everybody will be watching the announcement of Trump’s Fake News Awards on Monday.
However, preceding all of that folderol, this headline containing the term “Fake News” originally appeared in The Blower’s “DemocRAT Talking Points Memo” on April 9, 2016.
And Here’s The Fake News The BOSTON GLOBE Is Set To Publish Tomorrow, In The Lampoon Trump Edition Of Sunday Paper.
And on December 22, 2015, The Blower reported TruthorFiction.com had declared the false report of Obama’s supposedly launching a war on Christmas with a “fake news website” called Fox News The FB Page.
Still, The Blower has been talking about the concept of “Fake News” for much longer, although we may not have been using that precise term. Our Whistleblower Archivist found a November 6, 2006 reference to the Whistleblower Truth Squad’s exposing all those lies members of the mainstream news media had been “too lazy, too stupid, or too dishonest to report.” We should’ve used the term “Fake News” then. “We would have really been ahead of the curve,” explained Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane at yesterday’s meeting of the Conservative Agenda.
