The Free Beacon says Disingenuous DemocRAT Florida Congressman Alan Grayson told a CNN reporter Sunday night that an AR-15 rifle is capable of firing 700 rounds per minute. In the clip first posted by the Washington Examiner, the famously blustery congressman made the claim to Erin Burnett, following the terrorist attack by Omar Mateen on Sunday morning in Florida. Burnett did not dispel Grayson’s statement, which is patently false. An individual using an AR-15 would have to pull the trigger more than 10 times a second to fire off 700 rounds in one minute, and this excludes time needed for magazine changes. [MORE]

Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen says confidence in newspapers has hit an all time low in the latest Gallup survey, and TV news is also at a new low, the latest proof that Americans are losing faith in the media. Gallup found that just 20% have confidence in newspapers, a 10-point drop in 10 years. TV news saw an identical 10-point drop, from 31% to 21%. Maybe it’s because what The Blower always says about Feckless Fishwrappers: They’re too lazy, too stupid, or too dishonest ever to report the truth.
