The report found that Clinton did not receive any approval to host a private server what so ever and there were two known attempted hackings. On Wednesday’s New Day, during a discussion of Donald Trump attacking Hillary Clinton over scandals from the 1990s, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin wrongly claimed that Hillary “was not someone who was accused even of doing anything untoward with regard to these women,” and then laughed when host Alisyn Camerota jumped in to correct him.
Gregory Minimizes Dem Infighting As ‘Overblown,’ ‘Not As Big’ As In GOP
On Wednesday’s New Day, CNN political analyst David Gregory downplayed the dispute between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters over DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “I do think this is overblown.” Gregory later asserted that “there is certainly discord within the Democratic Party. It’s not as big as we’ve seen and are seeing on the Republican side.”
No Accountability Beyond This Point: Nets Never Blame Obama Admin for TSA Failures
The backlash against the increasing delays caused by the TSA has been so bad that on March 24, the TSA reassigned its head of security. According to CBS Evening News, 450 people missed their flights from Chicago’s O’Hare airport on May 15 because of TSA delays. Despite devoting more than 42 minutes to the abysmal failures of the TSA since coverage began on May 10, neither ABC, CBS nor NBC once even hinted that the Obama Administration might bear even some of the blame on their evening news shows.
House Moves to Impeach IRS Commissioner, Nets Refuse to Report
On Tuesday, the House began proceedings to impeach current IRS chief John Koskinen for his role in stonewalling the investigation into the IRS targeting scandal. Impeachment is something that hasn’t been done, according to Fox New’s Bill Hemmer, for a non-president since 1876. And despite Koskinen arrogantly ducking yesterday’s hearings the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) networks didn’t air a second of this latest development on their evening or morning newscasts.
Nets Tout Anti-Trump Rioters ‘Protesting With a Purpose’ Against ‘Controversial Candidate’
On Wednesday, the network morning shows all promoted violent left-wing protests outside a Donald Trump rally in New Mexico as a sign of trouble for the “controversial” GOP candidate and even provided a platform for rioters to justify their actions. At the top of NBC’s Today, co-host Matt Lauer breathlessly declared: “Breaking overnight, protests turn violent at a Trump rally in New Mexico. Demonstrators knocking down barriers and throwing rocks.”
ABC, NBC Blame Violence in New Mexico and California on Trump
For the past couple days violence has erupted at Donald Trump rallies in New Mexico and California, resulting in police breaking out the riot gear. The cause? Violent leftists who can’t express themselves through peaceful protest. However, NBC and ABC handed the responsibility solely to Trump on Wednesday night. “Where Trump goes, unrest follows …This is the same scene that we are seeing play out in city after city across America,” NBC’s Katy Tur exaggerated.
