Following this morning’s ISIS Terror Attack in Brussels, the Whistleblower Newsroom was ready for the political reaction that would surely come.
Today’s day of terror and horror refocused the 2016 Presidential campaign once again on the issue of global terrorism, the reactions of the candidates, even if they have become predictable, showed some of the shape of the debate ahead.
DONALD TRUMP would see the fresh acts of terror as justification for his call to ban Muslims from entering the United States, and a chance to say “I told you so.” He predicted more attacks, including in the U.S.
Trump’s top GOP rival, TED CRUZ, said the attacks should prompt real action: He called for patrols of “Muslim neighborhoods.” And he said that no more refugees from nations where the Islamic State and Al Qaeda are active should enter the United States. He also criticized Trump.
Meanwhile, JOHN KASICH, called for Obama to leave Cuba and return to Washington (or go to Brussels), for what reason nobody could quite understand, especially Kasich.
HILLARY issued the same lame statement on Brussels she’s issued on every Terrorist Attack since 9/11, but she still couldn’t say “Islamic Terrorism.”
BERNIE SANDERS decried the violence, Blah, Blah Blah. He also said our Policies needed to change, Yada, Yada, Yada.
OBAMA spent perhaps 15 seconds talking about Belgium, and then went onto to talk about himself and Cuba. How dare they interrupt what he views as his historic visit? “I’ve come to bury the last remnants of the cold war between us and Havana.” Meanwhile he allowed Cuba to criticize us and validated it, stood with Che, let political dissidents be arrested without comment, refused to submit list to Castro and refused to bring up American terrorists like Assata Shakur whom Cuba is harboring. Speaking on the Belgium Attacks, Obama said, “The Embargo Against Cuba Is Hurting The Cuban People.”
And where was Obama after the Brussels Attack? Doing the wave at a baseball game with RAUL CASTRO.
That’s what happened today on this 304th Day until January 20, 2017 when the Next President can only begin to Undo all the damage Obama has done.
