…But Some People Have Already Started Early!

image005This morning, there are only 35 more days until all those 2015 Local Elections in Ohio on November 3 you haven’t seen or heard anything in the news about. Early Voting doesn’t officially begin until next Tuesday on October 6, so it’s still a little early for our Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, and get all of their information from our Obama Supporters in the Press, to be already standing in line outside the Hamilton County Board of Elections.

image006However, Unsightly Yard Signs for candidates and issues are already littering the landscape, since most campaigns don’t observe any sort of 30-Day Yard Sign Period in their communities, and by Election Day, there will be more signs illegally in right of ways (or rights of way, according to which style manual you’re using). Coincidentally, those illegally placed yard signs will have been put there by the campaigns for above-the-law elected officials who make the your laws and judges who are supposed to obey the laws.

image006 image006“Hillary for Prison” Yard Signs already appear to be our Sign Stealers’ favorite target.

image006And what would our annual Sign War Season be without Soreheads in the Suburbs riding around at night defacing and destroying yard signs belonging to their candidates’ opponents? This year, the average bounty being paid for opponents’ yard signs is $3-per-sign.

image006The Blower has already heard several false accusations of “Sign Stealing,” and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office anticipates thousands of complaints during the 2015 Sign Wars Season. Cell phone photos of your neighbor stealing your yard sign make great evidence in court. And this year, some candidates are even stealing their own signs so they can go on Facebook and accuse their opponents.

image020How ironic would it be if a Judicial Candidate’s Campaign filed a criminal complaint about a missing yard sign for the Judge that had been “illegally placed?”
