While We’re All Waiting For The Hammer To Fall
Is anybody in Cincinnati really not expecting Jeffrey Blackwell to be summarily dismissed before the Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police crucifies Cincinnati’s Current Affirmative Action Police Chief with its “Historic No Confidence Vote” on September 14?
Maybe that’s why Legendary Local Sportscaster Ken Broo is already standing by, getting ready to call the play-by-play: “He’s outta here. He’s waaay outta here!”
Meanwhile, The Blower says it must be really difficult to be part of the Law Enforcement Community in America these days. All over the country during Obama’s War on Police, police officers are being murdered by Obama’s Black Race Warriors, assaulted by #BlackLivesDon’tMeanCrap Thugs, and thrown down embankments. They’re even being denied service at Arby’s just for being a police officer.
Today we’re not talking about all those chiefs, commanders, politicians, union officials, and other assorted know-it-alls. We’re commending the average street officer, the everyday street cop who is committed to his oath of office and wears his badge with pride because he or she is dedicated to providing protection to all people. As evidenced by the death of Officer Sonny Kim, our officers understand and accept the fact that there is danger associated with this commitment to a higher calling. Despite that danger, we should all be comforted in knowing that our officers continue to patrol the streets of Greater Cincinnati despite this danger and the critics who would prefer to see our officers falter in the face of extraordinary pressure.
Now here’s something The Blower wishes we had written—Paul Harvey’s “Policeman.” It’s a tribute to the many police officers who risk their lives daily. We should never forget the first ones we call when we are in danger.
