These days everybody’s wondering how serious those murdering savages from ISIS are about chopping off all our heads on next week’s 9/11 anniversary, especially after intelligence officials shared their disturbing news about commercial jets that have gone missing in Libya.
Hurley says on this date in 1972, Arab terrorists took Israeli hostages at the Olympics in Munich, and we’re sure the IDF will be on the alert.
You just have a feeling something bad’s about to happen, what with all those Dithering DemocRATS now calling for military action sometime during the next 867 Days of Defense remaining during the Dark Ages of Obama’s Second Term, unless the First Black President in History is impeached.
Obama’s Doofus Vice President Joe Biden pounds his fist on the podium and promises “We’ll chase ISIS to the Gates of Hell,” but troops in Iraq are wondering how they’ll accomplish that goal “when they can’t even leave the front gate of our base.”
In “What Price to Stay Free of Terrorism?,” Alan Cowell explains “When terrorism is thwarted, the first impulse among Westerners is to rejoice. But, often as not, there is a nagging afterthought, an echo of the uneven odds between attackers and their targets.”

Islamist militias in Libya took control of nearly a dozen commercial jetliners last month, and western intelligence agencies recently issued a warning that the jets could be used in terrorist attacks across North Africa.
Intelligence reports of the stolen jetliners were distributed within the U.S. government over the past two weeks and included a warning that one or more of the aircraft could be used in an attack later this month on the date marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks against New York and Washington, said U.S. officials familiar with the reports, September 11, 2012 sort of snuck up on the Obama Administration, at least at our embassy in Benghazi, Libya. Who could’ve ever anticipated that?
“There are a number of commercial airliners in Libya that are missing,” said one official. “We found out on September 11 what can happen with hijacked planes.”

(WASHINGTON DC – 09/03/2014) – The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), a coalition of several national and local organizations, today condemns a terrorist and anti-Islam group for a video purporting to show the gruesome beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff.
The murder of innocent civilians is immoral, illegal, barbaric, and in direct contravention of the major tenets of Islam and Islamic law. No cause or purpose is served by this heinous act other than a clear manifestation of this group’s cruel and un-Islamic nature.
“We are outraged that we once again find ourselves in the position to condemn this organization that calls itself the “Islamic State”, also known by the acronym ISIS, for killing Mr. Sotloff, especially so soon after its members murdered journalist James Foley,” said Oussama Jammal, USCMO secretary general.
“We recognize that all innocent life is sacred and so we also denounce this group for the rampant violence, terror, murder and mayhem it is spreading throughout the region against Muslims and non-Muslims alike. They do not represent me, American Muslims or the world’s 1.5 billion Muslim. ISIS must know that such a dreadful acts will never be condoned and will be strongly deplored,” Mr. Jammal emphasized.
During these difficult days, the USCMO also reminds the public to avoid spreading Islamophobia by using the actions of ISIS to characterize and demonize all Muslims, globally and here in the United States. We unequivocally denounce ISIS, its mentality, and tactics under any circumstances.
“We at the USCMO offer our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Sotloff’s family. We pray they find solace and we pray that Mr. Sotloff’s murderers will be brought to justice,” Mr. Jammal said.
The USCMO also demands the immediate release of British hostage David Cawthorne Haines, who was seen in the current video and whom the group threatened to execute as well.

A Southern California high school has retired a controversial Arab mascot.
The bearded, snarling mascot with a large hooked nose who wears a head scarf did not appear at Coachella Valley High School’s season-opening football game on Friday. A belly-dancing genie that often appears with the mascot during halftime was also retired.
The Desert Sun reports the change was among the steps the Coachella Valley Unified School District is taking to give the mascot a makeover.
The Arab mascot has existed since the 1920s to recognize the desert region’s reliance on date farming, a traditionally Middle Eastern crop. Over the years, the mascot evolved from a turban-wearing horseman carrying a lance to a standing figure with a scowl and a traditional head covering.
It came under fire last November when the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee sent a letter to the school district complaining that the mascot was stereotypical.
The district refused to change the school’s “Arabs” nickname, but it agreed to redesign the Arab face on the school logo.

TODAY’S “LIBERALS SAY THE STUPIDEST THINGS” WINNER is Obama’s Clueless Secretary of State John Kerry, who one day after the Islamic State in Iraq and al Sham (ISIS) released a video showing the brutal beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff–the second American journalist ISIS has decapitated on video, Kerry gave a speech saying that Islam is a “peaceful religion based on the dignity of all human beings,” and that ISIS is not “the real face of Islam.”
Wednesday at a ceremony to appoint Texas lawyer Shaarik Zafar to be special representative to Muslim communities, Kerry said it was the United States’ Biblical “responsibility” to “confront climate change,” including to protect “vulnerable Muslim majority counties.”

This week, everybody who wonders how scalpers can ever make a living at Bungals games, e-mailed an entry to the Whistleblower Limerick Contest.
The winner is the tri-state’s most gullible sports fan, Sidney Sportsucker, who again sold his spleen to buy Bungals tickets this year and hopes he won’t have as much trouble giving away his over-priced tickets to all the bad games as he did last year. Sidney can hardly believe six of the eight CBS Sports NFL analysts picked Cincinnati to pull the upset. At least Sidney didn’t buy UC Bearcat football season tickets too.
