Nixon’s Watergate versus Obama’s IRS Scandal

  • image005Obama’s IRS Scandal is looking more Nixonian every day. Tuesday was the 42nd Anniversary of Nixon’s Watergate Break-in, when five burglars in business suits bungled their way into the DemocRAT National Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel.

It’s too bad the country doesn´t have any journalists left that would investigate the Lois Lerner’s lost emails like Woodward and Bernstein investigated Watergate. That’s because Nixon was a Republican and the lessons today’s so-called journalists learned from that experience was only to investigate and report on Republican wrong-doings. Members of today’s main-stream media are just Liberal Propagandists and Apologists for the White House. For example, Monday ABC and NBC couldn’t even manage to cover the revelation that the IRS lost two years’ worth of Lois Lerner’s e-mails. Yet, reporters on all three networks mourned the loss of a parking garage connected to the four decade-old Watergate scandal.

image008Breaking News: It’s not just Lois Lerner’s emails. The Internal Revenue Service now says it can’t produce emails from six more employees involved in the targeting of conservative groups, according to two Republicans investigating the scandal.

Ron Hart, Op-Ed Contributor for the Christian Post, asks “Can’t you just see the members of this administration sitting around a table discussing how to handle the inquiry into the IRS targeting of its opponents?” David Axelrod says, “Just how dumb do I think Americans are? I say we just tell them we lost two years worth of emails around the time of the conservative groups targeting.” Obama was so incensed about the IRS scandal that he ordered his Benghazi investigator to look into it. Then he said, “There’s not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS.” Case closed.

  • image009So how hard is Obama working to stop the ISIS Advance in Iraq these days? He told Kerry to spend all day Monday fretting over Global Warming, and the New York Daily News reported our Fund-Raiser-in-Chief was back in his New York groove again on Tuesday. The president finished up a strenuous weekend playing cowboys and Indians in North Dakota, golfing in Palm Springs, and fund-raising in LA, before flying back to Washington to take that pesky phone call from that guy in Iraq and sending him 275 whole Marines before coming to Manhattan for three DemocRAT fund-raisers, just in time to snarl traffic during rush hour in what’s become known as the Barack-lock.

John “No Left Turns in Goshen” Joseph says, “Recent developments in Iraq prove that Obama pulled out too soon. Too bad his father didn’t do the same.”

Unfortunately, even if the 2012 election were held today, all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, would probably elect him again.

  • image010SPEAKING OF SMARMY FUND-RAISERS, local TEA Party Guy Ted Stevenot says Monday the Republican National Committee held a $32,400 per “co-chair” fundraiser for rich Republicans at the Queen City Club in Cincinnati featuring special guest speaker Jeb “Fighting for Amnesty” Bush, who is also an outspoken supporter of Common Core. Ohioans Against Common Core was on hand to remind attendees that both the RNC and the Hamilton County GOP have passed resolutions rejecting Common Core. [WATCH THE ARRIVAL HERE]

But think of all those Rich Republicans with more money than brains who shelled out for the after-party fundraiser on the rooftop of the Phelps overlooking scenic Lytle Park, who paid all that extra money to spend some up close and personal time with Jeb Bush, who was already wining his way back to Florida.

But while Anderson TEA Party members were outside the Queen City Club protesting Common Core in all that heat during Jeb Bush’s visit, the head of the Anderson TEA Party Andy Pappas was inside the nice air-conditioned confines posing for Facebook photos with Hamilton County RINO Party Boss Alex T., Mall Cop GOP, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, and the other muckity mucks. This begs the question: “Which side is he on?” [SEE MORE PICTURES HERE]

  • image016MEANWHILE IN OUR WEEKLY CINCINNATI STREETCAR UPDATE, Trolley Trollops along Cincinnati’s Streetcar Route in Over the Rhine still hoping for Republicans to change their minds and bring their 2016 National Convention to Cincinnati were plying their trade as usual on Monday. Can you guess which one of these lovely ladies is really a guy named Raoul?
  • MORE POLITICAL PROSTITUTES: Union Terminal is owned by the City of Cincinnati.  So is Music Hall.  So why is a cartel of rich people demanding that Hamilton County spend $200 million or more, not counting interest, to fix those buildings?  Cincinnati’s decision to squander its money on a streetcar doesn’t mean Hamilton County residents should be stuck with another tax increase.

That would be the common sense approach.  So naturally, Republicans for Higher Taxes endorses both a Sales Tax increase and a Property Tax increase for these projects.

  • FREE SPEECH UPDATE: Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously (9-0) in favor of Susan B. Anthony List, allowing that conservative anti-abortion group to proceed with a First Amendment challenge against an Ohio law criminalizing “false” political speech after our Avaricious Attorney from COAST Chris Finney watched while another attorney successfully argued for a politician’s Right to Lie before SOTUS last month. To read the entire Supreme Court Decision, CLICK HERE.
  • image018ONLY TWO MORE DAYS: Hamilton County Treasurer Robert A. Goering says please don’t forget, June 20 is the last day to pay their Second Half 2013 Hamilton County Property Taxes (jacked up by our Disingenuous DemocRAT Auditor) and any taxes paid after that date will accrue a penalty and/or interest; and failure to receive a tax bill will not avoid such penalty and/or interest. Are Republicans actually offering any opposition during the next 142 days until the November Elections?

Troubled Tax Payer Tino Delgato wonders why the Hamilton County Treasurer instructs those paying their property taxes to put HIS name on the check? Simply putting Hamilton County Treasurer is sufficient.  This reminds me of the need for State Governors to put THEIR name on highway signage and rest areas; all at over-taxpayers’ expense. Go Figure!!!

  • image020DISGRUNTLED DEMOCRATS continueto complain about the way Hamilton County Demo Labor Party Boss Tim Burka is running his Party. Today they want to know what qualifies people who have registered as Republicans most of their lives to serve as DemocRAT Precinct Executives? [That’s happened several times. He appointed at least two such people while, at the same time, rejecting those 100+ D-RATS who wanted to be precinct executives.]
  • image021IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY: Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says that Cabal of NoKY Attorneys Still Out to Destroy Eric “Call Me Crazy” Deters (including the Lisa Wells WLW Fan Club) was pleasantly unsurprised when Crazy Eric’s client from back when he was still allowed to practice law in Kentucky, Former Bungals Cheerleader Sarah Jones lost her defamation case against a gossip website on which an anonymous user posted that she’d had sex with half of the football team’s players and had contracted sexually transmitted diseases.A 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel overturned an earlier verdict in Jones’ favor, saying that while Jones was definitely “the object of defamatory content,” neither the website, TheDirty.com, nor its operator, Nik Richie, were responsible for the third-party posting. Crazy Eric had tricked the lower court into awarding Jones $338,000 last year.

Whistleblower Senior Spoiled Sports Editor Andy FurBall says it’s World Cup time, so in the spirit of making it clear to all those soccer moms out there: Internet 1, convicted felon child-molesting bimbo and her disgraced Kentucky ex-lawyer Deters 0.

image024Meanwhile, our Cabelleros saw where KOB.com reported Whistleblower Legal Dream Chairman Scott Greenwood was in the news when the Albuquerque city council approved spending all that money for work Scott and Former Cincinnati Police Chief Tom Streicher have done to help reform the Albuquerque Police Department.

Thirteen years ago, when police shootings ignited race riots in Cincinnati, Scott Greenwood, an ACLU lawyer suing the city for police brutality, and Tom Streicher, the police chief, worked together to change Cincinnati police. The two have been working in Albuquerque only since mid-April.

  • image023CONSERVATIVE CURMUDGEON STU MAHLIN says RE: Female Fishwrapper Amanda Vanda’s “Bridge taking toll on NKY image” that included “…[O]n the top issue facing the Greater Cincinnati region, we are the ones now viewed as behind the times. And increasingly, public opinion is mounting against us.  …[I]t looks like Northern Kentucky is stubbornly holding up progress on replacing the overcrowded, unsafe Brent Spence Bridge by refusing to accept the reality that tolls are the only path forward for the $2.6 billion project.”

“Public opinion” is “mounting” someone or other because Northern KY leaders are not accepting the global-warming-like “reality” that the “only” way to get a new bridge is by agreeing to charge tolls?

Stu says, “More power to ’em!  Here’s hoping for more legislative GRIDLOCK on this matter. Besides, I-71/I-75 drivers will get a new bridge — and a good-looking bridge at that — when the current one finally collapses.  Bridges can be built so cheaply and so quickly (do a little research on the repair of the Santa Monica Freeway/I-10 after the earthquake a few years back) in the face of a crisis.  And we all know that EVERY politician — not just the Obamanistas that occupy our White House — loves a crisis.”

  • ALISON WONDERGAMS GRIMES is continuing to follow the DemocRAT Playbook, complaining about record-breaking amounts of cash outside special interest groups might be spending on false attacks, while looking for more “On Line Donors.”
  • THE CAMBOOZLER HAS ALWAYS BEEN BUSY COVERING THE NEWS IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY: You’ll no doubt recall 23 Years Ago This Week (when The Whistleblower used to be printed and delivered all over town). Edition #55 (published June 18, 1991) featured CamBoo’s coverage of Primary Elections, Police Brutality, Vicious Dogs, and Only Little People Pay Taxes, just for fun. [SEE EDITION #55 HERE]

  • image026MANHUNT CONTINUES: Over at the Kenton County Escape Center, Terry “The Smiling Jailer” Carl says, Joseph Hall still isn’t reported to have voluntarily returned Center since he walked away from a work detail on May 28. Do you think they ran into a problem when the bloodhounds didn’t like the smell of the guy’s underwear?
  • IN ANDERSON: Township Trustees say you believe all those signatures on that petition asking that an appropriate portion of a road in Anderson Township be designated as a memorial highway to honor PFC Petkovsky, one of the other heroes of that “Three Against A Thousand Raid.”
  • HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date, the War of 1812 began, in 1815 Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo, and in 1983, Sally Ride became the first American woman in space. Now which one of those stories will they be talking about on “The View” today?
  • RACIAL HEALING UPDATE: Jay Billington Bulworth saysWhat we need is a voluntary, free-spirited, open-ended program of procreative racial deconstruction. Everybody just gotta keep fuckin’ everybody ’til they’re all the same color.”
  • FINALLY AT YESTERDAY’S BRIBE LUNCH AT BELTERRA where another politician was trying to get more unsubstantiated rumors about his opponent in The Blower, Charles Foster Kane was asked about that time Watergate Burglar G. Gordon Liddy made him an Honorary Watergate Burglar. “That was quote an honor,” Kane explained. “Liddy even told me who ‘Deep Throat’ was. Fortunately, Liddy said it was not actress Linda Lovelace, famous for her performance in the 1972 hardcore porn film Deep Throat.

Liddy was right, Kane said.  That’s why yesterday our Quote for Today Committee chose Liddy’s ‘Obviously crime pays, or there’d be no crime.’”

Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially Kane’s Burglar Buddy, G. Gordon Liddy.
