We Were Only Joking

image005Yesterday, The Blower was only kidding about all those stupid voters in Kentucky and apathetic people staying away from the polls in droves on Primary Election Day, but darned if they all weren’t all using it as a script.  At least all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, showed their support for Alison Wondergams Grimes, so Obama Supporters in the Press had  at least one thing to cheer about. Matt Bevin got crushed by McConnell, but at least he beat the spread.

  • IS THE TEA PARTY DEAD? If it’s not, it must be on life support. Obviously, people aren’t really mad enough because they’re still going to take it some more. Even after five histrionic years of the Obama administration, we still haven’t felt enough pain yet. Folks still must have a little room in their anal cavities to have a little more shoved up there. What was Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity? “Doing the same thing and over again and expecting different results.” Well, when John Q. Stupid keeps reelecting the same damn people, it’s no wonder our country has a government it truly deserves.
  • HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says today in 1856, Southern Congressman Preston Brooks savagely beat Northern Senator Charles Sumner with his cane in the halls of Congress as tensions rose over the expansion of slavery. Don’t you wish our Congressmen today showed the same spirit?
  • image007TWENTY-THREE YEARS AGO THIS WEEK: (when The Whistleblower used to be printed and delivered all over town), Edition #51 came out on May 21, 1991 and featured “A Thousand Points of Spite.”  But the Really Big Story was although Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II planned a personal visit to Kentucky that week, it would not include a side trip to Cincinnati. [SEE ALL OF EDITION # 51 HERE]
  • PHONY PATRIOTISM UPDATE: Last Saturday Obama and U.S. Embassies failed to notice Armed Forces Day, but at least they did recognize the “International Day Against Homophobia Or Transphobia.” Just in time for Memorial Day next Monday, yesterday, Obama said he wouldn’t hold his VA Chief accountable for the Dead Veterans Scandal, and praised him as “Great Public Servant,” but neglected to say, “You’re doing a heck of a job, Sheckie!”
  • MEANWHILE, BACK IN ANDERSON, patriots are wondering if local war hero PFC James Miller, IV (for whom the “PFC James Miller, IV Memorial Highway” was named last year) will finally be recognized on this Memorial Day. We didn’t see any mention of his name mentioned in that story about the groundbreaking ceremony for the Anderson Township Veterans Memorial on May 8. Trustees were probably too busy celebrating that $50,000 donation for their veterans’ memorial from Pinnacle Entertainment, owner of the new Belterra Park Gaming & Entertainment Center on Kellogg Avenue.
  • AND IF YOU THINK THAT’S BAD, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce usually honors outstanding area achievement at its Citizen of the Year ceremonies. The Chamber’s most prestigious event honors the incredible people and businesses that make Anderson, Mt Washington, Newtown, and western Clermont a great area to live. Unfortunately, this year the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce couldn’t find a single deserving local person to honor, so instead they’re giving their “WTF Were We Thinking Award” to Jeff Ruby, who doesn’t even live in this area.
  • image009SPEAKING OF WTF AWARDS, our favorite Suburban Sorehead in Kenwood wonder’s if we’d seen who’s on the cover of our America’s 1st Freedom magazine from the NRA that arrived in the mail yesterday.  It’s none other than Cincinnati’s former Faux Five-Star Police Chief James Craig of Motown!  Detroit Police Chief James Craig is quoted as saying, “We’re not advocating violence.  We’re advocates of not being victims.” Pretty strong words from a Police Chief who couldn’t pass the test!

image010Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially Northern Kentucky Losers in Tuesday’s Low Voter Turnout 2014 Primary Elections.
