TONIGHT’S TRUMP-CENTRIC FIGHT NIGHT WAS CANCELED AT REPUBLICAN DEBATE AS CANDIDATES STAGED A LOVE-IN AND EVEN THE PARTY CHAIRMAN SAID THE GOP WILL “SUPPORT THE NOMINEE, WHOEVER THAT IS”image004Meanwhile, Whistleblower Senior National Political Affairs Analyst Britt Humus says watching tonight’s episode of “Survivor – United States.”  (They really need to have Jeff Probst moderate at least one of these.)  The candidates are talking substance.  How boring is that!  Ratings are really going to drop.  Have to say, it’s the hit reality series of the year. Maybe you’ve heard this one:  Grandpa is lying in bed watching TV waiting for Grandma to come in from the bathroom so he can turn out the lights and go to sleep.  Grandma is feeling a little playful tonight.  She comes out naked with her bathrobe open and flowing behind her like a cape, hands on her hips.  She shouts “Super Pussy!”  Grandpa glances away from the TV, gives Grandma a quick look and says, “Soup.”

image004CLINTON BRISTLES WHEN ASKED ABOUT POTENTIAL INDICTMENT, WON’T SAY SHE’D DROP OUT IF INDICTED (During the Univision DemocRAT presidential debate Wednesday night, moderator Jorge Ramos asked candidate Hillary Clinton about her recent email scandal, and Clinton would not commit to dropping out of the race if she was indicted. When asked if she were to be indicted for her recent email scandal, would that prompt her to drop out of the presidential race, she simply responded, “that’s not going to happen. I’m not even answering that question.”

image004SCALIA SCORECARD: 4 OUT OF 5 OF OBAMA’S SUPREME COURT FINALISTS ARE OBAMA DONORS (The White House has reportedly narrowed its list of potential Supreme Court nominees down to five people, and four of them have donated to Barack Obama’s political campaigns. The five federal judges who will be interviewed by the White House for the nomination are federal judges Sri Srinivasan (who has donated $4,250 to Obama), Jane Kelly ($1,500 to Obama), Paul Watford ($1,000 to Obama), Ketanji Brown Jackson ($450 to Obama), and Merrick Garland, who has not donated to Obama. None of the judges are major political donors and the contributions made to Obama account for the majority of each judge’s political giving. The donation from Jackson is the only federal political contribution she made that was large enough to be included in election filings.)

image004WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT EXECUTIVES FIRED AMID CONTROVERSY (The board of the Wounded Warrior Project, one of the largest veteran support organizations in the country, has fired the nonprofit’s chief executive officer and the chief operating officer, according to a statement released by a public relations firm on behalf of the embattled organization. The departure of two top executives, CEO Steven Nardizzi and COO Al Giordano, comes at a time when the wounded veteran-focused organization is awash in controversy amid news reports accusing the group of wasteful spending, especially The Blower’s “What’s NOT Right With America” E-dition last Saturday morning about the same Fundraising Scandal at the Wounded Warrior Project.

image004LAWMAKERS DECRY COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRESIDENT’S PAYOUT FOLLOWING KYCIR REPORT, PUBLISHED EARLIER TODAY IN THE BLOWER (State Senator Christian McDaniel read from a Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting article on the Senate floor Thursday and called for an investigation of the compensation of all former Kentucky college presidents. McDaniel said the investigative report about a secret $348,000 payment to a retired community college president in Northern Kentucky begs broader scrutiny of state universities and colleges and their affiliated nonprofit foundations. Obama, who said Thursday that he has “not contributed to” dividing the country. Blame for that, he said, lies at the feet of Republicans and Obama-critical media outlets.image013
