Edition #36 (published on February 5, 1991) of the original printed edition of The Whistleblower (not the Newswire) was delivered to Persons of Consequence all over town. That Week’s “Really Big Story” was all about how “CNN Admitted Pirating WLW” during the Gulf War. The Top Ten List was the Top Ten Ways to make military briefings from Riyadh more exciting, Ken Blackwell reporting from Geneva, and how some of our local folks fared in the Saddam Hussein look-a-like contest.

There was a Real Editorial by Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane (before he became “Beloved”), more “Real Facts,” and our roving reporter at the Home and Garden Show asked people what they thought about the War in The Gulf.image007
