This Sunday In America… at the Church of The Compassionate Conservative, Beloved Whistleblower Publisher, the Right-Wing Reverend Charles Foster Kane was asking his Political Parishioners Pray for Precaution, especially for millions of Jews across America preparing to celebrate Rosh Hashanah beginning tonight, because many are fearful of attending services due to the increase in antisemitic attacks.
There have been 12 deaths in synagogue shootings this year, including four at Poway synagogue shooting on April 27, 2019, when a gunman armed with an AR-15 style rifle fired shots inside the Chabad of Poway synagogue in Poway, California, a city approximately 20 miles (32 km) north of San Diego.
American Jews also remember the Pittsburgh synagogue mass shooting that occurred at the Tree of Life Congregation in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 27, 2018, while Shabbat morning services were being held. Eleven people were killed and seven (including the perpetrator) were injured. It was the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the United States
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, host of the popular weekly Christian television show “Focus On Israel” and serves as a special envoy to the United Nations is even calling on Christians to stand vigil outside synagogues during the Rosh Hashanah holidays for Jews this weekend.
The Proclaiming Justice to the Nations President on her website, citing several acts of violence against synagogues, said there is “no justification on earth for these heinous attacks and no American should feel unsafe in their house of worship.”
“I therefore call upon all American Christians to stand vigil outside their local synagogues this weekend to let our Jewish brothers and sisters know that they are not alone. Some have tried to used warped understandings of Christianity to justify attacks against Jews, but nothing could be further from the Bible’s truth,” she said.
