Perhaps Obama’s Medal of Dishonor Would Be More Appropriate

Friday afternoon at the Whistleblower Newsroom, not a single person was the slightest bit surprised when Obama’s Justice Department announced it will not be bringing criminal charges against Lois Lerner or any other IRS official involved in the illegal targeting of TEA Party groups.

In a letter to leaders of the House Judiciary Committee, the department said the investigation into the controversy will be closed — and while they found “mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia,” they found “no evidence that would support a criminal prosecution.”

Republicans, who themselves have investigated the IRS scandal for years, fumed over Friday’s DOJ decision. Republican California Congressman Darrell Issa said the move marks a “low point of accountability” for the Obama administration. “Giving Lois Lerner a free pass only reinforces the idea that government officials are above the law and that there is no consequence for wrongdoing.”

Some Republicans had called for a special counsel to be assigned to the case, complaining that the investigation was led by a Dishonest DemocRAT donor. Among them, Virginia Republican House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte warned that “politicization continues to go unchecked by this Administration and a Justice Department charged with pursuing wrongdoing.”

Mark Meckler, co-founder of TEA Party Patriots and leader of Citizens for Self Governance which is suing the IRS, called the DOJ letter a “whitewash and miscarriage of justice.”

But Disingenuous DemocRATS had held up the findings of the IRS Investigation with Disgraceful DemocRAT Elijah Cummings exhibiting the same kind of behavior we all witnessed yesterday at Hillary’s House Select Committee on Benghazi, which was investigating the events surrounding the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in which Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others died.

Yet none of the news reports mentioned that when Lois Lerner was previously employed at the FEC, she was a vicious partisan who hounded Republican candidates who forgot to dot an “I” or cross a “T” on the simplest form, recommending that Republican be charged with a felony instead of a fine. Several times she negotiated dropping charges against Republican if they agreed never to run for office again.

It was this level of partisan hostility that caught the attention of Obama, who said he could use a vicious partisan bitch like that at the IRS to help him destroy the TEA party before his 2012 re-election that also required a little help from Hillary after the Benghazi massacre on the Anniversary of 9/11, a few weeks before the election. And from the time Lois Lerner took over At IRS, no TEA Party Patriots were ever granted a 501 c 3 tax exempt status.

Also not being reported by anybody in the news media is the fact that 2016 Republican Presidential Candidates are being asked by Conservative groups if they would allow an honest Attorney General to prosecute all the un-prosecuted illegalities committed during the Obama administration, or would they sweep those crimes and misdemeanors under the rug like George W. Bush did for his friends, the Clintons, Slick Willie and Hillary.
