Edition #45 (published on April 9, 1991) of the original printed edition of The Whistleblower (not the Newswire) was delivered to Persons of Consequence all over town. The Really Big Story was about how the jail crisis could be the county commissioners’ downfall. The Top Ten List was the ways to ease overcrowding at the Hamilton County Jail, and there was a story about the new “No Beating Zones” Cincinnati City Clown-cilman Nick Vehr wanted to be placed throughout the city.image005

Page Two with a Real Editorial by Publisher Charles Foster Kane about why Cincinnati had been selected for the “America’s Funniest People” auditions, Real Facts told about more politics as usual at Cincinnati City Hall, and there was a story about the Failed Cincinnati Public Schools rejecting a pay increase for its teachers.image006  Page Three featured Cheap Shots against General Norman Schwarzkopf, Ohio Governor George Voinovich, Enquirer critics Cliff Radel and Larry Nagar, and Monty Loeb, Jr., head of the Citizens for Community Values. And as always, we had Another Real Guest Editorial by Bunky Tadwell.image007
