Google’s Mistake Was Understandable!
Celebrities and celebrity wannabes often subscribe to Google for daily reports to see whenever their names appear in the news, so it was not surprising yesterday when Eric “Call Me Crazy” Deters received this e-mail showing his name had actually appeared in this recent New York Times article.
Unfortunately, it was just one of the 14,987 news reports on July 30 about “Crazy Eric’s” cousin, “JayWalking Joe” Deters, after the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s over-the-top rant about his indictment of University of Cincinnati Police Officer Ray Tensing in the July 19 shooting death of Samuel Dubose.
Goggle explained the misunderstanding: “It was a natural mistake. When our computers saw hundreds of other stories about a guy named Deters ranting and raving at a press conference, our program naturally assumed they were talking about that “Crazy Eric” Deters, the disbarred lawyer, instead of his cousin “JayWalking Joe,” the Hamilton County Prosecutor, especially after Award Winning Illustrator Artis Conception provided clear and convincing evidence that the pair had been separated at birth.
Artis now says Deters (the prosecutor) is busy doing a quick study so he can try the Tensing Murder Trial all by himself.
