More Politics Unusual

image014 - Copyimage006 - CopyTHE LATEST POLLS: Whistleblower Pollster Ron Rasmussen says “Meet The Press” just released a New Hampshire poll this morning that shows major momentum for Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich, who’s leapfrogged many of the GOP candidates and now sits at #4 (IN THAT POLL). We’re going to hear a lot more of this kind of noise before August 6, when only the top ten candidates will be allowed on the stage at the Republican Presidential Campaign Debate in Cleveland.

Meanwhile, Whistleblower Faux Facebook Friend Jerry Dowling says, “I guess I’ll be doing caricatures of all the presidential candidates later or sooner. Just doing the Republicans will take longer than my book will be. I’ve already done John Kasich and as soon as I get time, it’ll be The Donald. And then Billary. Here’s the Ohio Governor/would be President. He thinks.”

image014 - CopyHURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date in 1775, the US Postal System was established. Who says bureaucracies don’t last?

image014 - CopyTHAT’S WHY OUR QUOTE FOR TODAY COMMITTEE chose Ronald Reagan’s “A government bureau is the closest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth!”

image014 - CopyOUR LATE NIGHT TV JOKEWATCHER liked Jimmy Fallon’s “Today Trump went to Texas to visit the border between the U.S. and Mexico. And when he got there, other Republicans pushed him over the border and went, “Your problem now! You gotta deal with this guy! He’s on your side!” and “Republican candidate Ben Carson told reporters he thinks American prisons might be too comfortable. As opposed to Mexican prisons that have personal showers with $5 million escape tunnels.”

image014 - CopyLIBERAL LUNACY:
In Human Events’ “365 Ways to Drive a Liberal Crazy,” #217 says ask them to guess who said this: “The soundest way to raise revenues in the long run is to cut taxes now. The purpose of cutting taxes now is… to achieve the more prosperous, expanding economy which can bring a budget surplus.” Ronald Reagan? One of the Bushes? F. A. Hayek? Arthur Laffer? No, it was JFK.

image014 - CopyJOHN GALT says, “Happiness is possible only to a rational man, the man who desires nothing but rational goals, seek nothing but rational values and finds his joy in nothing but rational actions.”

image014 - Copyimage012 - CopyIN LAST WEEK’S COLUMN FROM PATRONAGE COUNTY TITLED “Spics and Scams” the Patronage County Commissioners were talking about the best way to exploit Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants right here in Patronage County. This op-ed column never appeared at any time in the feisty Mt. Washington Press personally edited by eminently renowned publisher Dennis Nichols.

          Summer Sports
Summer is the time for sports
So search for a lovely doll
Who is yearning for some action
          And willing to play ball.

image014 - CopyMEANWHILE, OUR MUCKRAKER says
he heard from Tail-Gaiting Troublemaker Tino Delgato this week, who said,
it’s sad to see the Reds dismantling the team that made the playoffs under Dusty Baker 3 out of 4 years. First they dumped manager Dusty Baker. They dumped starting pitchers Mat Latos and Alfredo Simon to save money and potential free agency for each. They speak of their being a “small market team.” Yet somehow a team from one of those small markets (Kansas City) was in the World Series last year and now gets Johnny Cueto from the Reds. Baseball (as opposed to the NFL, NHL, and the NBA) does not have a salary cap or full revenue sharing. Anyone buying a “small market” team should know the reality of this before they plead about their cash flow.  Senor Bob Castellini has been a breath of fresh air as an owner, but a Mark Cuban or Donald Trump type is better equipped to handle this imbalance of revenues due to other businesses. Bob promised a winning team and now that team is in Kansas City. Go Figure!!!  The Reds host the Small Market Kansas City Royals September 18 and 19. K.C. could start former Reds Edison Volquez and Johnny Cueto. And do you remember when the Cubs and Astros were cellar dwellers in the Reds NL Central division?Remember when the Reds traded Josh Hamilton five years before he would be a free agent (2008)? He was the AL MVP the same year Votto was for the Reds (2010). Go Figure that too!!!

image014 - CopyTHE FREE GRAIN PARTY
still stands as the last refuge of anyone willing to help himself from the stores of others, and Jeb Bush sat down with some Koch brothers types this week and argued we should “phase out this program” — Medicare — because nothing says “great politics” like a Bush proposing to radically change a major entitlement program.

Free Grain Party Members include all DemocRATS, RINO Republicans, some TEA Partiers, quite a few Independents, disgruntled postal workers, senior citizens demanding free prescriptions, those who believe bigger government is the answer to all their problems, everybody who said “what Bill Clinton did was indefensible, but he shouldn’t be removed from office,” and those who think pork-barrel spending is OK as long as their district gets the money.

Unfortunately, that group probably doesn’t include all those Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama Supporters Who Put Obama In The White House—Twice, and get all of their information from our Obama Supporters in the Press.

image014 - Copyimage025 - CopyAND AT YESTERDAY’S MEETING OF THE CONSERVATIVE AGENDA, Political Insiders were asking Beloved Whistleblower Publisher Charles Foster Kane if anybody remembered when actual jazz musicians performed at a “Jazz Festival” in Cincinnati. And with all those Negroes coming to town for all that Black Music Madness this weekend, Just Wondering in Cleves asked if attendees were the same low or non-tippers to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurants as those who attend other Politically Correct Conventions in town, and Trash Talking Troublemaker Tino Delgato said, “Let’s see, we had the MLB All Star game one week followed by the “Music” Festival (formerly The Jazz Festival) the next week. Both events filled Cincinnati’s streets. One filled Cincinnati’s restaurants and bars. The other filled hotel rooms with empty booze and wine bottles along Popeye’s Chicken containers. Go Figure!!!

image014 - CopyWEDNESDAY, (JULY 29) we’ll be checking to see how Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich is doing in the polls, hoping he’ll be invited to take part in the First 2016 GOP Presidential Debate in Cleveland on August 6.

image014 - CopyTHURSDAY (JULY 30) is “National Cheesecake Day,” and even though we couldn’t find any documentation confirming this to be a “National” day, Congressional records and a Presidential Proclamation might claim it’s an official day so your wife has to bake one for you.

image014 - CopyAND SATURDAY (AUGUST 1), we’ll be we’ll be giving the political goings-on at Fancy Farm in Kentucky all the attention they truly deserve

Remember: We never print all the bad stuff we know and certain people ought to be damn glad we don’t, especially longtime Butler County Politician Michael Fox, was released from Federal prison on Tuesday. Award Winning Photo Illustrator Artis Conception remembers that time we all knew how to treat Mexicans in Mason.

 Whistleblower Video of the Week

The Nairobi Trio (Imagining the entertainment at this week’s Obama Family Reunion in Kenya.

[From “Kovacs Corner” on YouTube.com] – Although it is posted all over YT, no tribute site would be complete without Kovacs’ signature comedy sketch. Of course, it’s The Nairobi Trio’s syncopated rendition of Robert Maxwell’s “Solfeggio”. As if you didn’t already know, the costumed gorilla with the cigar in his mouth is Ernie. The pianist’s has been self identified as Ernie’s co-star Jolene Brand. The timpanist has never been identified but, in this particular performance, his apparent small stature suggests it is Kovacs’ sidekick the late Bobby Lauher. At other times, the role was reported to have been played by Ernie’s best friend Jack Lemmon, Milton Berle, and the Chairman of the Board himself, Frank Sinatra.
