image008I am eight years old. Some of my little friends say “Obama is not really Santa Claus.” Papa says, “If you see it in The Blower, it is so.” Please tell me the truth; is Obama really Santa Claus? —Virginia O’Hanlon

Virginia, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except what they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible to their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men’s or children’s, are little. In this great universe of ours, man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole truth and knowledge.

He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy.Alas! how dreary would be the world if Obama were not Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.

         In Washington, They Re-gift Your Own Tax Money

image011In Washington, our DC Newsbreaker says yesterday everybody was waiting to see if RINOs in the Senate had totally caved in to Obama and Disingenuous DemocRATS, just because just because they wanted to get out of town for the Christmas Holidays at the end of the week.

Tuesday, right on schedule, RINOs in the Senate helped pass our Crooks in Congress’ so-called budget deal that House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) made with Senate Budget Committee chairwoman Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) by cutting military pensions to pay for immediate spending increases. Twelve Senate RINOs joined all 55 Democrats and Independents.

It should be no surprise that both GOP House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Bitch McConnell are now both targets of the Senate Conservatives Fund. Not surprisingly, both Boehner and McConnell have dismissed the group for exploiting the Republican Party, with Boehner saying all the TEA Party and its allies are looking for, is financial gain, unlike Members of Congress, no doubt!

And please don’t waste your time asking how many members of that Dirty Dozen will be facing tough challenges from outraged TEA Party Candidates in 2014 Primaries. You can just imagine how many of them are NOT up for re-election next year. The fix was in from the beginning.

 What is it The Blower says all the time? That means all those for Dumbed-Down, Self-Absorbed, Media-Influenced, Celebrity-Obsessed, Politically-Correct, Uninformed, Short-Attention-Span, Free-Stuff Grabbing, Low-Information Obama voters truly have a government they truly deserve, just like the rest of us.

  • THURSDAY, in our Special “Impeachment Anniversary” E-dition, The Blower said, “Do you think today’s TEA Party members will even remember?”

To Impeach, Or Not To Impeach!

  • HURLEY THE HISTORIAN says on this date in 1998, Slick Willie was impeached for lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice. Do you think any of those Kneepad Liberals in the Press will be remembering?

According to the History Channel, after nearly 14 hours of debate, the House of Representatives approved two articles of impeachment against President Bill Clinton, charging him with lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice. Clinton was the second president in American history to be impeached.

Five weeks later, on February 12, the DemocRAT-controlled Senate voted on whether to remove Clinton from office. Slick Willie was acquitted on both articles of impeachment.

Recently at the Mandela Memorial service, the Slickster said Mandela had taught him to forgive the Republicans who impeached him.

In a related item, Monica Lewinsky was looking at herself in a mirror. Her frustration over her lack of ability to lose weight, was depressing her. Finally, in desperation, she decided to call on God for help. “God, if you take away my love handles, I’ll devote my life to you,” she prayed. And just like that, her ears fell off.

Such stupidity is the reason Conservative Curmudgeon Stu Mahlin predicts it will come to pass that Cincinnati will become the bankrupt, empty hole in the tri-state (SW Ohio-No Kentucky-SE Indiana) donut-shaped metropolis, knit together by the 84-mile-long I-275 loop.

  • Meanwhile, Tracie’s Trashers say she looks like she has an awful lot of energy for somebody who is not hearing cases through the end of the year because of “health reasons.”
  • image031IN ANDERSON: There was a standing room only crowd Thursday night to thank retiring trustee Peggy Reis for all her years of service to Anderson Township residents. Also, many folks in attendance at the meeting wanted to watch Kevin “Big Spanky” O’Brien make a fool of himself for one last time at a trustee meeting and they were not disappointed.

The tribute to Pouting Peggy Reis included many people making comments about her service and noting her many accomplishments. Reis also showered with bouquets of flowers from grateful residents. A power point presentation of Reis’ accomplishments ran on the projection screen in the background.

The presentation included many photographs of Reis with staff members, previous trustees and residents. Interesting was the omission of Spanky O’Brien from any of the photographs. Either O’Brien has not done anything the past four years, or they were unable to show any of O’Brien’s “accomplishments” because they knew children would be in attendance at the meeting.

After the tribute to Reis, the trustees discussed electric aggregation. The audience really got a good laugh when Spanky made a big deal out of $.000019 difference in the competing proposals. The audience had a good snicker over O’Brien and his inability to comprehend how meaningless fractional pennies really are on the family budget.

Spanky also made a final grandstanding comment about his tenure on the board and he thanked himself for his service which included servicing himself. Not one resident made any comments about Big Spanky’s tenure on the board. No power point presentation for O’Brien and obviously no photographs, because again, Josh Gerth’s children were attendance.  All are just glad he’ll soon be gone.

image033As Trustee “In Russ We Trust” Jackson brought the meeting to a close, the entire audience stood up and started singing “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Good-bye” while the St. Rita Band played quietly in the background. All O’Brien could do was slither out the side door never to be seen again.

Duffy “The Kevin Slayer” apparently has still not found his way back to Anderson Township so no one was there to give the eulogy.

After the singing ended, Trustee-elect Gerth Pappas took the oath of office, and was overheard talking about a resolution he planned to introduce at the January meeting to outlaw Chicken Choking and Monkey Spanking on residential property when in the company of a woman who is not related by marriage.

  • image035TAIL IN THE JAIL: It seems Brown County has a little “Tail in the Jail” problem. The state bureau of criminal investigation, while investigating the Brown County sheriff, obtained information of illegality regarding Kevin Dugan, a former nurse at the Brown County county jail. 

The pie-faced Dugan is charged with two counts of sexual battery for having sex with two female inmates at the jail, and there may be many more instances of similar illegal sexual behavior.  Dugan is a former medic for the Cincinnati Bungals, which makes one wonder specially why he is no longer employed by the Bungals.

Dugan’s equally pie-faced ignorant girlfriend has been giving interviews saying how inconvenient this is for them.  You betcha!

  • FINALLY, The Blower should’ve known what might happen when we allowed a Real Republican like Steve Chabothead to be our Guest Editor on Friday, because one of the items he chose was “THE TRUTH ABOUT PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE” by Greg Geico, which just happened to mention all those millions of dollars Progressive Insurance Chairman Peter Lewis had donated to the ACLU.

Bellwether Blogger Bill Sloat was all over The Blower for allowing that kind of Free Speech:

image037Interesting to see your distribute that screed about the ACLU.  As you know so well, that group came to your aid when the schmuck lawyer from Kentucky sued claiming the Whistleblower damaged his reputation.  The ACLU stood up for free speech, which resulted in the Whistleblower’s eventual attack on the ACLU for standing up for free speech.  As Bob Taft used to say (and who wants to bother remembering anything Bob Taft said), “No good deed goes unpunished.”  Nah, he probably didn’t say that.  He didn’t do any good deeds.

Anyhow, the ACLU’s so called “liberal” principles include fighting for pro life protestors who were banned from carrying picket signs in Ohio, challenging the NSA’s attempts to listen in and gather data on Americans without any proof they are criminals, opposing sending people to prison for pot, standing up for pregnant women whose employers want them kicked off the job.  Yes, it also thinks that racial profiling is a waste of time, and supports some rather far left causes.  Mostly, though its prism involves that idea that a big government usually is out to squash the little guy.  It is hard to imagine everyone agreeing with everything the ACLU does; it is equally hard to imagine slamming the ACLU for existing and drawing support from rich folks.

  •   IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY: Bluegrass Bureau Chief Ken CamBoo says the latest and greatest e-dition of Our Good Friend Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney E Rob Sanders festivous e-newsletter is on cyber news stands now.  This week’s This Week In Kenton Circuit Court featured lots of felons who are definitely on Santa’s naughty list!  But we don’t think they’ll be getting lumps of coal in their stockings because they don’t let you have stockings in prison!

Speaking of The Robster, the Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Office annual Christmas party has become THE event of the Christmas season for anyone who isn’t a total stick in the mud, political schmuck (and even a few who are).  Dozens of party crashers showed up uninvited.  Obviousl,y no-one wanted to be left out.  After the Robster shut down the his bar tab, the raucous crowd kept rocking with the post-party karaoke-off competition again this year, and we hear the late night crowd was well entertained by some talented dancers and the DJ had the dance floor hopping.  Of course, that’s all inadmissible as hearsay because Ken Camboo had to be carried out and poured into a cab long before the party was over.  He says it was a great time from what little he can remember.

Meanwhile, at the Party for the Whistleblower NoKY Legal Dream Team and the Cabal to Destroy “Crazy Eric Deters (including the Lisa Wells WLW Fan Club) events, people were wondering if Crazy Eric was trying to blatantly solicit a case in the headlines, would he really be stupid enough to do it from his office in Kentucky since he’s not really supposed to be practicing there.  Crazy Eric’s suspension period may be technically over, but the Kentucky Bar Association has yet to return his license. Do you think somebody sent the KBA the same proof The Blower heard about how “Crazy Eric” might unethically be soliciting clients these days?
